Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of the universe of EVE!

In school I am doing a project on Statistics and am looking to the vast world of EVE Online for statistics. If you are interested please answer the questions below.

  1. What is your average daily income?

  2. Are you worried about paying your insurance/Corp office rent on time or is it just another small payment of your total income?

  3. Do you find, more or less, the resource you are mining in the same sector as the highest buyer. If not how many average jumps do you make to sell for a decent price?

Thank you for your time and for answering these simple questions!

Many thanks,
Brandodaman (and his school grades)

P.s. If people want to see these stats I can post the link to the finished chart with averages, deviation, and other factors

How rude, asking for one's (in-game) income. You haven't even bought us dinner yet.

1) -50mil ISK
2) no, becaue because the insurance company does not like me anyway :-(
3) I don't mine, but sometimes ore just drops and I make more ships out of it, because then they are free :-)

1) 400-700m ISK per day
2) I'm not too worried about insurance costs, usually I lose the ship before insurance runs out
3) I don't mine anymore

1) No idea. As long as I can replace ships/buy what I need, I pay zero attention to ISK
2) not worried
3) only mining I do is in WHs, so location related to where I will sell is irrelevant

1. That is basically my average quota as well. Unless you want to put in about half a day's work (or get lucky with Commanders or Escalations), that is the most you can accumulate within about two hours or so with Havens and Sanctums, or at least very close (90 million or so).

And I'm still training up the Drone skills to maximum efficiency.

So I'm impressed with those guys who can accumulate more ISK in the same amount of time (though I'm assuming most higher ISK accumulation takes longer than two hours).

2. I'm not a corporation owner, but I am taxed by the Corp for the bounties I earn while ratting.

3. Mining is on and off for me. I generally only mine when someone else has boosts in-system for best efficiency, and I am not training any mining skills at the moment.

1. ~257 mil/day change in total assets over the last year according to jeveassets. Some of that is change in asset prices, some is income

2. I usually don't even insure my ships. office rents are pretty insignificant, although that is partially because I picked out of the way station because of their low rent. A jita office would be nice but at 2bil/month not really worth it for me. For the average player PLEX price is probably a more pressing concern.

3. Not mining but the stuff I produce to sell it is usually under 10 jumps. Typically don't go too far from amarr/jita.

0 ISK/Hr because I have all the stuff I need in assets that need to be destroyed.

1. This is like asking guys how big their penis is. You will on average get a much bigger answer than what exists in reality.

There's also the issue of accounts involved and hours per day played. When I was a no lifer I could do at least a billion a day with one account.

My average daily income has decreased greatly as of the last few months due to work, school, life stuff. I don't make isk daily but if I average out the few times I do across a period of time it's about 600m a day with 12 accounts. Not nearly as impressive as it should be considering the numbers involved.

2. I don't buy insurance as I don't lose ships where it matters. I am worried about paying for my monthly plexes though. I don't bother much with corporate offices as only my gank alts have one right now.

3. I don't mine as it's a waste of my time trying to box it. For the amount of effort required I could be making a LOT more doing other things.

What the above poster said.

But damn only 600m/day with 12 accounts? That barely covers PLEX costs to keep that lot alive!

My average daily income is approximately 1bil and slowly reducing over time.

All expenses are tiny compared to PLEX.

Mining... no.

Yeah, same here bra. About 3-5 billion ISK a day, bra. I buy about $90 worth of plex a day and sell it, you know? Make a good profit selling plex, bra. Mining's for chumps bra.
