No words for this... the whole situation is absolutely abhorrent.

I think I can safely speak for everyone here at CCP when I say that our thoughts are with everyone affected.

Our deepest condolences are with those who have lost love ones, and our best wishes for a speedy recovery to those who have been injured.

I'll leave this thread open, but please be sure to keep politics well away from any discussion that goes on here.

Thanks for that CCP Falcon. Around 100 deaths. Stupefaction here in Paris.
In French/En Français : il est 02h00 du matin ici, à Paris. Tous les Français sont extrêmement choqués. Et effectivement, laissons de coté la politique sur ce fil, au moins à la mémoire des personnes décédées sans aucune raison ce soir.

Facebook has deployed a little tool for people who may have friends or families in Paris.

At least, I'm a bit relieved to know that my friends are safe...

My thoughts are with them in this dark time. The world is watching, and hoping for only the best for them, those who would harm them in such a way are nothing more than cowards, and will receive no pity when they are punished for their crimes. I hope the people stay safe, and rise up stronger than ever.

My thoughts are with the injured, the families and friends of those who have been injured or killed and the countless eyewitnesses.

My heart is filled with sadness but also solidarity with those who have been impacted by these events.

Don't anger the forum gods.

And my wife thought I was nuts when I told her I was nervous about her and my daughter going there alone a few months back.

To all the peace-loving people in the City of Light, and across Europe, be strong. In the relatively near future, your character is probably going to be tested in ways that haven't been dreamed about in at least a few hundred years.

President of France literally just told the whole world what's up.

President Francois Hollande.
"We wanted to be here among all those who saw these atrocious things, to say that we are going to fight and our fight will be merciless, because these terrorists that are capable of such atrocities need to know that they will be confronted by a France that is determined, unified and pulled together and a France that will not let itself be overawed even if today it is expressing an infinite amount of emotion at this drama and this tragedy, which was an abomination and a barbaric act."

The entire world is behind you dude.

The news of this hits us all hard, and my condolences go out to those affected, and the family and friends of those who were forced to witness this atrocious act.

This is a horrid attack and a reminder why we should never stop fighting this ideology.

This should not be happening in the year 2015. We should be able to call our race civilized by now. We have breakthrough discoveries, technology is amazing and improving every day, we should reach for the sky, heal ourselves and our planet, not kill each other.

I'm in denial, I can't believe these kind of atrocities are still happening. They need to stop.

when i'm awake at this hour it's usually because of structure alerts, timers, help for bro's, responses to bat phone, or family issues, tonight, i'm awake becasue of france and what happened there. hearing over 140 dead, that's a lot of broken hearts and devastation, peoples lives changed forever.
