Plz Help! Show Info,Market,Contracts causing LAG

Hello pilots, I have been experience issues with Show Info, opening the Market, creating Contracts, even opening the Fitting Window. It causes the game to freeze up for up to 10 seconds. I could be flying in space and it'll leave me staring at a frozen warp tunnel, anxiously waiting to see if I'm still in one piece while I wait for a Character's Info. Does anyone else experience this? Any ingenious players know a fix? I have a pretty beastly pc for EVE, good Internet connection... I don't remember EVE always being this way. What do?

in game : clear cache files, from ingame menu 'reset settings' (no it will not reset any settins, just clear junk), then restart game
(try having only 1 client launched)

off line, no game launched, try running "rescache.exe" (somewhere in the binary of eve)
(can take some times > 10-15 min if no SSD)

but there are issue since parralax, so this may do nothing, and you are affected by a brain in the box / something else? good luck

anyway, a bit of maintenance does not hurt, if t works (*gasp*) don't hesitate to post it!

if it does nothing, then create a ticket (and tell them you did all the cleaning already)

If you file a bug report from within the game right after you experience this stall we get logs that may help us track down what is causing this.

Same here, it's been happening for 2 months or so. It was first reported after Vanguard was released IIRC and others mentioned it in the issues thread back then.

Opening the market when you first log in to a character will open the Market UI but it just loads the frame then there is a pause for me of 3 seconds before it fills with data.

I get the same with the Contract UI, however there is a difference there. If I open the contract UI by clicking on the icon on the neocom, the UI opens immediately. But I use contracts a lot for swapping blueprint copies etc between industry characters and I'm used to right clicking some selected items in the Item Hangar and right click > Create Contract. This also results in a 3 second pause before I can do anything.

Both of the above happen every time I login to a different character and have been like that for 2 months or so, since Vanguard.

It would be nice to know that CCP are working on it.

This happens to me as well - mostly with the market screen. I am using the mac client on a Macbook pro. It seems to happen at random instances - my market window will freeze sometimes upon opening sometimes just browsing, anywhere from 10-30 seconds. I'll try to file a few bug reports when they happen.

It's been happening to me since the release before Parallax. Thought it was just my PC being slow.

I get it when I undock - sometimes - open the market, open contracts and open the fittings window.
