So much stuff has been added, we are only now just finding it all. You should totally use the new launcher and check it out for yourself.

Examples:

  • New Command Destroyers
  • New "Armor" for cloths
  • New Engine effects
  • Grids that are just bonkers (probably going to be shrunk but will be at least 8km wide, right now it is > 25km grids)
  • Models for T2 logi frigs
  • More new cloths
  • Drifter boosters?

I won't post any images here, but you should totally go check it out if you can. The new launcher makes this process trivial.

Enjoy!

If you are worried about your skills/ships, they have added commands to allow you to do that.

New command dessies? Please tell me there is no more OGB... Please???

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

Command Dessys are the MJDD they also can fit what appears to be one command link.

They aren't really Command Destroyers.

The descriptions for them have some errors, but once that is corrected, even if they can fit warfare links (which it looks like they will), it will be 1 easily and 2 by completely gimping the rest of the fit.

Still better than nothing, but not really a replacement for existing boosting ships.

Edit: ISIS on SiSi has them listed as a Command Destroyer ( http://puu.sh/ljC7A/ebabed64eb.jpg ), so it's probably the best name to use.

Also on SiSi, new camera controls.

Having played around with them. they are still very buggy and I'm not sure I like the transition between first-person, ship view and tactical view being automatic the way it is, so will continue watching this as it develops.

CCP Rise said on twitter that was a typo, they can totally fit a link, but you are correct it will likely be one each.

But given their combat abilities, having more then one isn't out of the question.

Potentially a nice supplement for fast moving small ship gangs though. It's not always practicable to drag a bc hull along.

At Eve Vegas, it was mentioned that the aim is to change grids so they are much bigger than they are now.

CCP Nullarbor mentioned being able to have multiple Citadels on the same grid, but not close enough to interact with each other (ie. can't shoot at each other).

So grids are expanding to be much larger than they are currently.

Simply bringing links on grid won't change much. If the grid is over 1000 km wide (and many are now anyway), the boosting ship will still be pretty much untouchable, especially for groups that have time to setup a range of on-grid tacticals that the ship can be aligned to and warp if probed.

And it also does nothing to affect highsec pvp mechanics.

I hope there are much more creative options for affecting links that give more options to all sides in a fight.

CCP seems to be re-writing eve one function at a time. Other companies usually just let games die out, but we got a company preventing that from happening.

Who needs an EVE two when you have CCP.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

Yeah totally. I'm very much looking forward to the day we can do away with a T3 Cruiser for boosts when we roam in smaller ships.

Even with hyperspatial rigs, they are still slower than the rest of the fleet.

The ability to have something that can move just as fast will be great. I hope when AFs are rebalanced, that they also gain the ability to fit a link or two.

They're still a bad idea. As bad as cloaking command t3s? Hard to say.

Armor clothing in Eve? Come on ccp spill the beans. Is this the first step to avatar multiplayer combat inside the eve client?

Can I finally get rid of the ps3?

Tough call, though I think cloaky nullified T3 command cruisers have the edge for daft ideas.

Where do you see that? There's no new entries to the NES nor the market tabs.

Not everything is instantly obvious... probably should have left it off the list, but it is SO cool.
