I just recently watched the Godfather again, and since the Godfather is called Vito Corleone, I wanted to go for that. Unfortunately, it was taken, so I took the Vito part, and added the name of the Tattaglia family, the main antagonists of The Godfather.

I have always been fascinated by mythology, especially Greek , and one of my favorite stories is the story of Arethusa.

My first toon was an Intaki miner. With this guy I decided to make a more RP toon and also fly Caldari and use missles. Looking over the bloodlines I liked the way Achur looked. So then I needed a good name that was not too "gamey".
David Wingrove wrote an excellent book series named Chung Kuo. In it my favorite character was named Steven Lehman, an albino who wore all white (the chinese color of death). A ruthless killer and gang leader who slaughters his way to the top of the Triads and becomes the king of the underworld. Much of his story is told through the eyes of his Han second Souchek. Putting the two together I thought it sounded quite nice as a mix between asian and european influences.

Theran - Actually came to mind due to dabbling with Earth Dawn RPG ages ago, though I was only vaguely aware of it at the time. It just sounded appropriate mostly. Also an Ancient Greek civilization, and a Star Wars race of some kind apparently.

Was the name of my kobold character in DAoC Mordred where I played with an RP guild that required names that didn't mean anything and well... sounded koboldish. When I first came to EVE it was to play with the same player organization, and I kept the name. Would change it if I could, but not a big deal.

I searched for an EVEonline name generator and all I found was one for Star Wars , it generated one that was close to my corp's name that I created with my 1st noob alt so I figured I might as well use it.

Kolya Medz translates from my native ghetto California dialect of Armenian into "Nick the Great".. it was the gamer tag I'd been using since I was 12.. and I just sorta got used to it.

Unfortunately people mistake me for being Russian lol.

I have absolutely no idea. I'm still puzzled where this character came from. The only time I remember it was when I logged in 5 months ago and saw it instead of another character I made.

But I do think the name sounds cool. C'mon, Tiberius is a cool name and Sunstealer is a cool last name because I like steal suns and all.
