"The illusive drifters! The biggest threat facing New Eden, the bane of our existence, the harbingers of the death of New Eden.

You have seen the destruction these "drifters" cause.

The death of Jayml Sarum I, the constant harassment of Amarr space, the hundreds of deaths of the people who try to protect and serve their empires and corporations

Now think of their families, their friends.

Sons without fathers, daughters without mothers, parents without sons and daughters and innocent people without their friends...

I have seen the sheer terror, sadness and destruction caused by these cold, calculating machines who simply kill without hesitation, no survivors and no hope for the victims and their families.

It is time to fight back!

We have had enough of the oppression, the fear, the terror the faces New Eden from these machines!

I call upon the brave warriors, blacksmiths and farmers of New Eden, it is time to End the oppression of these fiends!

It takes one man to make a goal, but it can take hundreds to fulfill it, I need your help!

I call upon those ready to pick up the sword and take the fight to The Drifters, those willing to x up when the end is near rather than wait for their demise and fight it and not give up all hope!

Help can come in any form, from donations to the cause to X-ing up when the time to fight is upon us even spreading the word that there is hope!

We cannot leave the deaths of those who fought bravely to protect their own in vain it is time to FIGHT!"
- Zero Davahum, during his preach at markets across the empires.

You may not know me, i may not know you, but if have taken time to look at this message then we clearly have something in common.

As said in the speech, the end is nigh, and I for one will not allow it to end like this.

It is time to rally the forces of New Eden as one, Capsuleers, Navy Commanders, Soldiers and Empires alike.

Our goal is simple.

To rid New Eden of Those who would see it die, and all who stand in our way

A wise man said to me that to do this we need but 3 things.

Support
War Funds
and
An army

Now this man was a great man, I had known him for some time, but how do we get these 3 things you ask?

Well that is simple as doing a little bit to help a great thing.

If every Capsuleer donated 100 million Isk, we would have enough to get the support of the 4 Empires and perhaps the Jove, we would have enough to give 100 000 Battleships to the cause and we would definitely have an Army.

How can you help?

How you help is up to you, 4 ways you could help are.

Spread the Word! #FightBackDrifters on Twitter or even simply reply to this post putting your hand up saying "I support the cause!"

Donate ANYTHING to the cause! everything donated will be put in passworded containers and will not be opened until the time has come to fight!

Make the Empires and Corporations aware that there is hope! ask them for their support, and make us known throughout New Eden!

Kill as many Drifter Battleships and Cicardian Seekers as possible! Disrupt their scouting operations and stop them getting Antikythera Elements from Jove Observatories!

So your probably thinking, "hang on, you can't be serious, rallying an army against Jovian Technology, your mad!"

Well maybe I am, but i am pretty sure a madman could not come up with what I call the flowchart to victory

This will show us where we are and what we need to do, keep in touch with it, we may see more progress than expected.

Been fighting back, and since this isn't summit, I gotta talk out of game.

First off, there is a big error in the incursion setup. Making it much easier than it should be. Bug being submitted.

Next, the current configuration of them might make combat unsustainable, will require more looking, but the ships lost by our fleet alone tonight was quite extensive and we considered ourselves successful. When the difficulty is at the intended level, I just don't think the ship supply can keep up, not without destroying the marketplace.

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

I know you love your role play stuff, but to be honest the Drifters are not in any way interesting gameplay wise. After about a year of development they're a load of fluff and, frankly, beginning to become stagnant; much like the door that will never open.

Well if you have been fighting them, you are already contributing, that is good, but why not make history while your at it?
Lets get the support of the empires and take the fight to 3-CE1R!

That wasnt me talking roleplay. It is the facts of the game mechanics. There legitimately is a bug, and in their current state, combat vs them will be unsustainable to a point where clearing would be so much work, would be ignored. That said, people would do it to maintain system security but even that is going to be a significant investment from the player community. The incursions themselves, yeah, are kinda like big burner missions. the hives have more interesting gameplay really...

On the other hand, maybe you quoted the wrong person and meant to quote the OP.

These attempts at Braveheart style rallying speeches always make my skin break out a little.
I mean i enjoyed 300 as the slick 'cool fascismo' piece of garbage it was meant to be, but don't let that stuff shape your thinking, or your delivery.

Who's freedom? Bob knows we have been killing their brethren by the millions in W-Space. They have every reason to hate our guts and to defend their 'freedom'...

Oh and OP, if you ever want my support, please leave out quotes from RL politicians. Especially from more controversial ones...

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

So, is this supposed to be some kind of out-of-place RP scamming service?

You know, if you offer to double back whatever is donated at the wars conclusion you might even be able to get around the no-scamming rule on the forums since you technically can't break your word as the war will never conclude.
