Gaining standings question

Tried to find a thread on this, but couldnt.



The Goal: get standings to access lvl 4, starting from standing of 0 with corporation

The Question:

is it faster to start by running lvl 1s, then lvl 2s, lvl 3s etc after getting access to them and keep running them for standings

OR

have another character do lvl 4s and share standings with the new character

I couldnt figure out which is faster (in terms of amount of standings per hour, etc)

why not both? nothing stopping you from blitzing and getting standing boosts from someone else.

to get to level 2s you only need to run 1 lv1 with connections 3 or higher. those can be easily blitzed in most destroyers/cruisers
lv3 blitzing can go very fast. warp speed rigged ishtars, t3s, or machs for best speeds, or a BC with lower skills/resources. if you have faction standings you can probably skip at least one level.

not 100% sure which is faster, but both are pretty fast. Also the one option depends on how fast the other player can blitz missions.

I believe this is slightly faster - especially if you have good social skills on your higher level character. And you make a lot more ISK/LP in the process...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

The reason sharing lvl 4s is better is because it will quickly gain you standings with that particular agent. Soon you will be able to run lvl 4's with that agent on your own even if your corporate standings is much lower. Then your isk/LP payout will be significantly higher as your standings with the corp increase to 5.0.

You also want to make sure you run in a location that will give you storylines with the corporation you are targeting (closest storyline agent).
