Weird Experince with secure container and item hanger, Houdini Items

So had the weirdest and worst experience of my eve life 2 nights ago, Gathered all my t2 and faction Items and ammo in one station and was going to sort all my stuff and rebuild all my ships, so I stripped all but 1 of my ships and put them in a secure container in my personal hanger in the station, I named it t2 and faction and proceeded to move every t2 and faction item into it (all of them lol) then i was going to stack them all so i selected all and repackaged (which incidently repackaged my container and ejected my stuff) So after moving all the stuff back into it I closed the container window (by accident) opened the first ship fitting window that i was going to refit then reopened the container window, Everything's gone UghSad, Restarted eve, still gone, cleared cache and restarted, still gone, reinstalled eve still gone. I have checked every ships cargo bay, ran an asset search for things i knew was in it and nothing shows, checked to see if it was possible that i reprocessed it and i definitely didn't have enough materials to warrant it being possible, not to mention i cant reprocess or trash things while inside the container. So I'm at a complete loss as to whats happened, ive submitted a petition and as usual CCP is taking their time, while im stuck without fittings or ammo :-/. anybody experienced this before? any possible ideas i might not have thought about? Should i avoid moving anything in my hanger while they sort this outQuestion Anyway to speed up CCP's response without making them mad?Question

If you are using the CQ, check under the couch cushions.

Check again, maybe under the couch, maybe behind the mirror thingy

I'm guessing no one has any constructive ideas on how this happened or possibilities to fix it? Other then the petition that might get answered within the next....month

Its a newer bug. You can put stuff in a packaged container if the window was open when you packaged it. But since a packaged container can't hold anything it has no where to go. I think you have to petition it.

just tested it with a cap booster, it does in fact eat your items Shocked , so that is exactly what happened. thanks, ill be sure never to do that again Straight
