This is an issue that has plagued me for the majority of my EVE career and is really manifesting itself now that I've returned from a long break looking for something to do.

For making ISK, I have always enjoyed and have had the most success with doing level 4s in hisec.
For PVP, I have always enjoyed solo roaming low sec looking for fights - I do not limit myself to flashy targets, I have never minded taking sec hits and I have been -10 in my past, so I guess you can call me a pirate.

Obviously, there is an issue here. For every one kill in lowsec it takes days of missions to make up for the lost sec status. Staying above -2.0 is a hassle. Missions lose their fun when I have to do them, when I'm forced to interrupt my PVPing in order to fix my sec status.

So. Is there a solution to this issue? What could you suggest to someone like me to get the most out of the game? :)

I've tried it, I hate the disconnect from hisec. I do not want to rely on alts or other players to get my shopping done. Now, I definitely don't avoid nullsec when doing my roams, if it's quiet around the gates it's always fun to go fishing for bigger targets. However, entraces are usually camped 23/7 so it's not something I get to do often.

Lets do a quest.

On either side of the spacebar on your keyboard. The answer will come to you.

Stay in low sec and do missions there, just whats needed for isk.

Or make an alt for high sec mission running.

Also there is some trick where every time you swap systems, your sec status gain is recalculated. So you get 2 missions in different systems, kill a BS in one, go to the other system, kill a BS, go back... and so on.

But the best way is to repent your evil ways and stop doing criminal acts.

Mission in lowsec, do FW, or go to nullsec. If you're -10, FW doesn't make much of a difference to who can kill you in hisec, and just gives you more options to shoot in lowsec.
