I have just began using my newer computer for about 2 days. Very shortly after getting all my personal setting established I went to download the Eve client. Download went fine ... other than it downloaded in like 45 sec.? I don't remember Eve downloading that fast ever. Anyways, so I open the launcher type in my user name and pw and click launch then it freezes. So I ctrl alt del and look at the program not responding. I have run repair, eve resource cash, deleted and reinstalled, tried launching from the .exe file, just about every thing I could think of. Any idea of what's going on?

System specs.
Windows 10 pro (just updated to troubleshoot)
Processor - Intel Core Duo CPU E8400 @3.00GHz 3.00GHz
RAM - DDR2 4GB
System type - 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Any help would make you a saint in my book! Thanks in advance.

first of, you dowloaded the downloader or "online installer", that's why it's fast to download, but the game itself was to be downloaded by the launcher when first run, after doing to chekcing of existing data, that's why the laucher is not responing

don't kill it and wait about 1h or 2 or 5 depending your bandwidth, and stop kill innocent program from the task manager! lol
uninstall eve, to make thing clean

now, go back to the download page and get the "offline" installer, it is the the full download of the game, and setup from there (it is multiple files to download, around 9-10GB total IIRC)

after setup run the launcher and it will patch a few minutes

and as I'm nice, http://community.eveonline.com/support/download/offline-installer/ that's the offline installer
