I had the same problem, except I was a female version of the Silver Surfer... haven't checked since to see if it still happens.

I know for a fact that the chalk blue layer on the last picture is a UV map though its pertty high rez then agian last time attended a seminar on it the guy was using a UV map that looked like a city zone map which had some horrendous resolution I guess.

In otherwords there seems to be a traffic collision on the pipelines something isnt getting delivered from game source engine to the gpu.
