Odball quirk. Anyone else seen something like this?

Just wondering if anyone else saw this.

I've had an alt training advance spaceship command for the last 19 days or so. It finally finished (I want the bowhead sooooo bad).

I logged in just now to get on a new skill plan, and I see very oddly two conflicting pieces of information.

1. Skill training completed notification. ASC V. Done. As of a few minutes ago.

2. Looking at my skills and the ones still needed to fly a Bowhead, I see that ASC is still at IV in my char sheet. And the requirements tab on the bowhead show V as still needed.

I was not able to inject the ORE Freighter skill.

Log out; log back in. Everything is as it should be. Skills in the right place at the right levels, and I am now free to go lose an autopilot bowhead.

Just thought it was weird. No rage or anything. Just odd. Anyone else see anything like that?

Yeah, I thought of that. But having certain parts of the system not up to date with other is a little interesting.

i.e., a part of the db knew that the skill had completed and sent the training complete notification.

another part (the u.i.) was not aware of that.

And then apparently a third part that manages skill requirements was also not aware of it because disallowed skill injection. Although maybe that goes through the UI entity and isn't that much of a mystery after all.

Not a big deal. Just interesting to see how the different parts do (and sometimes don't! :p ) work together.

yes I have had similar issues

since the patch, two days ago, it would not let me train one of my alts at all - log in log out - suddenly I am training the other two on the account at the same time - then I am training none of them - then I am training skills I already know or one's I removed from the queue a few days ago to train something else - then the removed skill disappears and I am back to training what I wanted - then that character is not training at all

I reported it - they said they would look into it

but as of this morning with the new upload things are back to normal

Hey There,

Fileing a bug report is the best way to bring this to CCP's attention. Please Show and explain how to reproduce this Bug and what you think may be causing it. Thanks!
