Eve used to have a cool music player that let you choose between the different music tracks in the game. I guess it was removed to support dynamic music, or maybe due to MP3 player licensing fees.

Has anyone made a website that acts like the old player? That would be cool.

No Jukebox yet. For now, you can use Soundcloud.

the tracks on soundcloud are crap. first of all, they are not all present. and second, half of them are the totally wrong tempo, or missing parts entirely.

you're better off just ripping them from youtube.

I wondered about that, I thought some of them sounded different. Did the artist get bored of the originals and 'remix' them? Would be nice if the originals were uploaded too.

are the music tracks no longer contained in the client?

long ago they were, i copied them back then and made an eve music folder to place them in. even went to the trouble of renaming and numbering them, since by default they are named ambient001, ambient002, ambient003, etc.

the jukebox is dead and never coming back. CCP waste dev time converting an existing mp3 player for use in there system. so they removed it. And as has been said many times they have no intention of bringing it back. This ofc could change, but as of this writing the jukebox is dead. the IGB will be heading tot he firing lines eventually soon.
