Not sure if this is the right part of the forums, but a minor thing I would like to have changed.

Grant an option to only receive notifications to forum threads when someone replies to a post you made, rather than any time anyone replies in the thread.

Would have to add a reply button to each individual post. I don't see a reason why not, though. Supported.

Would also mean revamp the forum database to allow posts to be linked to each others. Way too much work, for little to almost no benefit. (Just saying that as a web admin.)

Or they could just send you a notification when someone creates a post that contains "[quote=*Your Name Here*]"
