I've just activated a multi-character certificate.

Upon attempting to activate a second queue, I was cordially invited to purchase a multi-character training certificate, which is odd, because I just did that.

It seems to be stuck in association with the wrong character. My understanding is that they are not associated with characters, so this is an additional oddity.

I want to train Alt A and Main.

I do not want to train Alt B.

At the time of activation:

Main was training. Alt A had an idle queue with one item in it.

Alt B had an empty queue.

After purchasing an activating the item, Alt A still cannot train.

Alt B CAN train, but that doesn't do me any ******* good now, does it? It seems to think that Alt B is training regardless of whether or not it actually is (which it most definitely, to clarify, is not).

I have, for funsies, tried starting and stopping a queue on Alt B, hoping this would rectify the matter. It did not.


Update: I stopped training on my main. So, now I have zero characters in training. Alt-A STILL can't start a queue. Attempting to do so STILL invites me to buy another training certificate.

I've logged in and out so many times at this point that I am surprised I haven't been IP banned for attempting to DOS the login server.

So far it has done a whole lot of nothing. I'll try again, though.

Bear in mind, I can start two characters in training - just not the RIGHT two characters.

One character (this one, in fact) cannot start training even when 0 other characters are training.

Edit: Yeah, no. Tried that again, logging out of absolutely everything. Fully closed launcher, even the website for snicks.

Still cannot start a queue on this character, even with 0 other queues running.

Just tried a cache flush - No luck.

Same here , even restarted the computer to "make sure " still wont let me.. =(

the below is here so you can (probably, hopefully) replicate these steps and see the cause of this issue.

i started a new trial account today to fiddle around with. i trained one skill on the first character then made a second. i trained two on the second character. i then decided to delete that one after pausing it's queue and started a third one. when trying to start the queue on that newest character it prompted me to activate multi-character training. i logged out and double checked both other alts (canceling the deletion), both had totally empty queues. i logged back in to the third character and tried to start training again. clicking apply several times after adding a few skills did nothing, closing out of the queue window it prompted me to apply the changes so i clicked yes. reopening the queue window i saw that all of the skills that were there had been cleared out. after walking through these steps several more times i was able to replicate it each time. this character was and is totally unable to train anything whatsoever with no other characters training and is continuously prompted to purchase multiple character training.

i'm going to pause here for a moment to collect myself. eve is 13 years old. brain in a box has been in the works for the last two of that. eve has it's own dedicated test server. these facts make me seriously wonder how any of this made it past the testing phase. was any even done? i realize that as an old player who understands this will quickly be corrected this isn't a big deal, but imagine if this trial account was my first. you would've just expected me to pay for a game that doesn't work, and then told me i needed to pay for extra add-ons to make it do so multiple times. wtf ccp?!

I am having the same problem on my one account. I don't use a Multiple skill training license as I am not interested in doing multiple skill training. The training on the one character refuses to start today after downtime no matter what I do and NONE of the characters are training. It keeps popping that I should buy a Multiple Skill training License to start the training and I am not interested in it.

Glad to see SurrenderMonkey's problem is solved with the multiple training. I still have the problem of not being able to start training on my character using single character training while none other characters are training. I am actually considering to delete the other character on the account in a desperate attempt to see if I can get the main character to start training

I also can't start training on a second char on this account even though i stopped training for the main. Seems like it's not only connected to Multicharacter training.

Same problem. No Multiple Character Training.

Same problem as well, no multiple character training and unable train alt on same account even with main training queue paused.

I am able to restart main training queue; also, the SP at the character select screen is not correctly updating.
