Hi all, I used to play EVE a few years ago and recently restarted my account.

I have forgotten many of the basics.

I am going to ask a few newbish questions here and thanks in advance to anyone willing to take a moment to respond.

I use a macbook pro.

Is there any way to close the game window without quitting the game?

Also, I have a pretty good overall understanding of EVE but have forgotten several key basic things. I am not sure if I should just restart all over again because of this.

For example I forget basic stuff like how to set my ship controls so I don't fly in dangerous areas and how to put an item from the item hangar into my ship hangar. When I drag and drop a small item into a hangar with enough space it won't go in.

Overall stuff like tech advancement, how to outfit my ship, how to use the market to get good deals buying/selling I remember.

I can't find the basic tutorial on the nuts and bolts basics of the game.

I'm open to any advice even if it's as simple as.. "start the 30 day free trial and start again."

Odd, I've used google, searched forums etc. and can't find it mentioned anywhere how to close the game screen without quitting the game. Maybe someone could just post if they know if this is possible or not?
