Stuck in character selection screen

Same problem, tried everything, submitted a ticket around 24h ago. Does CCP only work Monday -Friday?

I have the same problem. Executed recache as recommend and renamed the cache file but noting worked. Cry
With my alt i can log in.

I am experiencing the same problem as well. Clearing the cache as mentioned previously in this thread does not work. Attempting the login from a different pc also produced the same results. A support ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: I submitted a support request at 19:10 and received a response with resolution from a gm at 19:16.

Same issue.

I was able to log in earlier this morning with 2 of my characters. I had run out of blood raider boosters on one, the other had never consumed them.

When I attempted to use the 3rd character on the account, the screen went black. I waited a while, then closed the window and tried again. On the second attempt it goes black before showing the character selection screen. This 3rd character did have an active blood raider booster.

I deleted everything in the cache folder and used rescache to redownload it all. Still didn't work. I then renamed the C:\Users\[removed]\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\cache directory, still not working. I ran the rescache program again and it confirmed that all the files were good.

Not sure what to try next. I filed a ticket a few minutes ago.

Exactly same issue on this char (that is the account this char is) but not on the others five accounts I've got. Initially I suspected it might be due to the Blood Raider boosters since CCP Karkur said that it was related to training queue timestamp mismatch, but my other char training with a booster is doing ok. I still suspect it might be related to the booster. In the meantime CCP, can you please fix my account on which this char (langbaobao) is plz?

for all of you still having the issues, try to give more information to ccp
this bug seems highly contextual, also use LogServer.exe from eve binary folder, launch it, start a new workspace and lauch the game.
it should ouput hundred of line, look for errors or failed and report them, it may help ccp to identify the issue

it's been more than a week this started and no "we are investigating this issue" from ccp.

well back to gaming, as I don't have this issue because all my boosters where ninja looted. Serves you right!! (haha, sorry)

For me it doesnt matter which account im using. It just takes an extremely long time to reach the character select screen (several minutes) but it does eventually get there. I first noticed this when trying to launch my 2nd account and through more testing it doesnt seem to be related to a specific account, the first one loaded fine and the 2nd one loaded slow. Now even the first one I launch loads slow.

Okay heres an update, I think its my internet? I'm in an office right now and both accounts load up to the character screen in the normal time. I think whats going on with my specific issue is the internet might be causing the 2nd account slowdown due to my temporarily limited bandwidth till my new ISP comes and does their install.

I have 5 accounts and only 4 of the five log in :/ so for me its not my internet

I have the same issue on this character.

Logged off at the Corp POS last night and everything seems ok. Come home and try to log in.. nada..
It gets past the loading bulk data etc. and just doesn't show the character selection screen, its just black.. devoid of anything except for the resource loader icon in the bottom left.

As stated earlier by others, I have tried varied solutions to resolve this.. and I'm still with the black screen of doom...

My other two accounts log in fine.
