Cool

Love the new launcher.

One niggly thing, when you start the launcher and you've made it to automatically login, should the login screen showup? Its only for a few seconds, but would look really streamlined if it went straight to the Play button!

Oh and great work on everything so far, coming from a beta tester that is still addicted. Maybe make wars a slightly less pain in the ass? (I run an indy corp)

all the best!

First time loading the new launcher I noticed right away that the background loaded noticeably slow. It had that effect that you see when a webpage is loading a large image and you can see the image loading top to bottom.

One idea would be to load a really low quality image first and apply a blur filter, Then load the high quality image after. It would give a nicer visual effect and better first impression to new Eve players.

For the devs: Chrome has an really cool feature to help you reproduce something like this. If you can load the launcher in a web browser (I'm guessing since it's web based) In Chrome's device emulation settings, there's an option for simulating network throttling.

For the popup message about a news item. When I clicked on it, I definitely expected a web browser to open to that news item, not for the popup message to close. Would suggest making this action clearer.

Should really disable all launch buttons while an update is in progress. I clicked start by mistake and was greeted with an error box telling me my install was corrupted. Clicked start again 2 seconds later and it launched fine.

GUI: The launcher window is resizable (good), but it's missing the standard maximize/restore button.
GUI: The window does NOT respond to "Windows Key + Arrow key" standard shortcuts for arranging windows.

Don't know if these were mentioned already.

Thanks, I'll add these to my list. Note that you can double click on the (invisible) title bar to maximize.

mumble needs dx9. launcher run eve in dx11. option for dx9 soon.

For your setting issue, no idea what you mean : ALL setting for eve online, whatever the version, location or launcher used are stored in
C:\users\%USERNAME%\appdata\local\CCP\EVE

and each of the install / version / location are here in the for of
C_Program_files_EVE_Tranquity
or
D_GAMES_EVE_TQ_22.33.44.55

they appear in the left panel ot the import setting window

do you have something like that?

Please , I need some help to find where the new launcher put the cache and setting folder.
I delete the old eve install and now I cannot find these two folder. They are not inside the shared cache folder created by the new launcher. I just think with this new launcher everything will be inside that new shared cache folder.
Sorry for computer noobness.
Thank you in advance.

1 post above yours!!!

and no you didn't delete your settings, new launcher is creating a new folder there, and allows you to copy them from previous install to the new one.

Small feature request. One thing I feel is missing is a quick way to see the latest patch to Eve itself. The old launcher had a link at top that redirected you quickly to see this information. It'd be nice to have something similar on the beta launcher.

OK update from BE-Testronic-labs!

iv tested it on X amount of GPU's

Range was AMD R HD 5800 upto 390x x2 DDR5 8Gb Crossfire
meh you guys are pushing buttons there.....
All good, except the force button Direct X 9/11 still not supported?
i do want to test the older GPU's with multi launch, but up till now BIG LOVE from me!
10 x accounts on a Multi launch 5sec load with 32Gb ram works perfect no leaks on the FX9950, launches perfect with 7/10 account at Max ress HDR enabled omg...
But yea guys Props!
Mem leak on Lower Cypress Firms (HD 7000 series and lower) is still a problem on DX11 so i cant test lower gpu's!

BUT O MG the launcher is perfect for me Keep up the good work guys!Cool

When I log in through the launcher on one of the computers I use to play EVE, I end up with a list of all my accounts...not much different that the master password option I suggested in my previous post. However, on another computer, I need to enter passwords for every account, as if they are unlinked. I don't think I ticked the "Remember this account (Insecure)" box. I wonder what did I do to trigger this behaviour?

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Launcher freezes at 1.7% complete for me. Launcher log: http://pastebin.com/FHFQ7Duk

EDIT: It seems to work fine if I disable the Duality server in the settings before restarting.
