Patch broke mining fleet bonuses.

None of my mining boosts are working anymore, inside the pos or outside.

happened to my alt to, bonus's were working fine on the rorqual then randomly they disapear, only way to bring them back is stopping and starting the mining foreman links, has happened twice so far since the patch, have bug reported it

had the same problem and bug reported it. Our mining fleet has a Wing Booster, and a Squad Booster, both in Orcas. The best Orca being the Wing Booster. The problem goes away if you turn off the links for the Squad Booster, specifically the time improvement one (can not remember the name right now)

Once that was done, all mining cycle times reset to expected. Now if I can just find my bug report I can add this.

Move rorqual outside pos shields and put it on the belt grid.

Does not matter where you put the Rorqual or Orca it still is bugged as crazy and more likly than not the Cycle time reduction only works if you have it in Fleet Commander position. and then it randomly stops working, either on grid, off grid, inside or outside a POS. Makes no difference on whether it works or not. And if you happen to dock up with a mining ship its a 50/50 chance of working again if it worked when you docked.

same for me, no way to get any bonus with our ORca for minings fleets...

I found today that all fleets made using a Fleet set up from before the update have the trouble.

If i make a fleet without using a previous fleet set up, no problem with the bonus !

same problems here. loading a saved fleet wont work.


Mining boosts are not working correctly.
I create a fleet, have everyone in the correct positions, and I get max boosts.
but if I move everyone in the exact same positions to a different squad, I loose part of the boosts.
range is still there, but no cycle time reduction.

after trying reproducton steps still doesnt work.

create fleet with rorqual pilot as wing,
place 2nd pilot in squad boost and 3rd pilot as squad member.
activate industrial core on rorqual.
Max boosts should be seen.
Move wing commander to Fleet position-boosts drop as there is no one in wing.
move rorqual piolt back to wing position-range boosts return, but cycte time does not



Hope they fix this soon. as this i loosing isk for the industrial people who dont know this.
and ccp screws up again. really guys. test more before breaking more.

Disconnect as booster with boss and then get invited back to fleet and boosts no longer work before remaking.

Please fix

wasn't this fixed with patch 1.5? (along with other bonuses? I didn't mine since then) it was on the 10th

did anyone open a ticket? I know they answer to my the ones I open, I'm going to check my orca right now


Also I see some playing around squad, fleet and wings
for a booster to apply you need a valid fleet, a valid fleet need lots of prerequisites, among them the hierarchy goes from bottom to top:
squad leader is mandatory for a valid squad
wing leader is manadory for a valid wing, and a wing must have at least 1 valid squad
etc... for fleet level, you need 1 fleet commander and 1 wing with 1 squad
also skills for each command level

but I'm sure anyone having rorqual sized wings knows that, and as I said, I'm gonna check with an orca and some alts, just in case the bug was fixed

I mad a fleet with 3 char, 1 orca and 2 miner, orca as squad commander and fleet booster

both time and range bonuses are applied correctly,


and the part about a valid squad need in a wing is shown, I hope this is clear enough


I tried other combo with 2 wings which did not work as you need at least 1 member additional to the squad leader, joining and leaving, docking, undocking with booster or lead, switching around squand, wing booster


I've noticed the booster is indeed not applying after the booster is docking and dedocking
the way to force reapplying the booster is to revoke it and reset it (as squad or wing, whatever the valid one)

I have not see a problem when normal member were docking or leaving/joinning fleet. just when the booster is not in the system or docked and comes back

I did not encounter "partial" boost at anytime (only range, or only time)

funny thing : when I set the wing like i did on the third screen shot, but removed the "squad booster" on the squad leader
the bonus from wing are still applied on the whole squad
but tooltip on the squad leader says it receive bonus only from the squad booster, and the squad member receive bonus from both wing and squad... meh


TL;DR :
revoking and reapplying booster role after docking/system change seems to fix things
no "partial" bonus detected
