I ended up joining in a war as an ally for someone, who then bailed out of the corp and it seems I am stuck in this war until it supposedly ends? Is there another way to get out of the war as an ally or do I have to sit it out?

Still debating whether I should wardec the corp they bolted to. Haven't decided yet...

You could always biomass yourself.
