issue with Exploration map

so I head out on my morning exploration run ... launch my probes and click open the map and I find nothing. No blue scanning bubbles, no square with arrows, nothing just a map of the solar system . I log off and back on (why I'm not sure ... just trying to do something), and when i log back on .... bamm! new interface ...

So I fumble around with it but my question is is there any links, videos, or other information on how to use the new interface? I was just starting out and I don;t think I really had my arms around all the tricks of the old one ... any information would be helpful.

Had the same issue after log in but after jumping to a new system the updated interface and map showed up. The probe icon and bubbles on the map only showed up after turning off the option and back on again in the map interface at the top seem to be working fine now.

edit: also tapping shift seems to bring up the move icon for probes without having to fiddle with setting.

OP - are you one of these people that gets up way early and scans down all the sites
before anyone else gets out of bed?

Thats what I try to do but then I realize that the entire human population doesnt live in my time zone. But to answer the OPS question OP please make sure you check what you want to display in the map filters.
