I'd like to change my gender, but apparently Character Resculpt does not allow this. It should.

Seriously, I don't see why not. The player has the same skills, same name and all that.
Can't help firing off a olba(one line bad idea):

Just get rid of gender, replace with a rugged/soft slider bar. People are just people after all.

Use the force without consent and the court wont acquit you even if you are a card carryin', robe wearin' Jedi.

There should be no reason you cant. According to Lore its easy to do and done often.

Also according to lore there is a huge MOD culture. From Genetics to Cybernetic.

So changing gender to a clone should be super easy!

This is false. The character resculptor will allow you to be any gender you like. Just apply a little creativity.

You may not be able to change your sex, but then again nobody can do that in the real world, either.

Ah yes, just use your imagination, is that it?

Or, you know, CCP could implement this completely harmless quality of life improvement and, just maybe, the ability to change your character's gender would increase their revenue stream with no negative effects to anyone's game experience.

Ah, the old "you could be doing something else" fallacy.

Better things? Sure. But who decides which things are truly better? And why must they be restricted to only ever doing one thing? Surely this would not be exceptionally difficult, and would improve the quality of at least the OP's game experience, likely along with many others, and would increase the sales of character resculpts a sizable deal.

I'm getting really tired of hearing this argument. This forum is for us to discuss how much we like various ideas, or how to improve them. Saying something like this is an unconstructive way to insinuate that it's obvious everyone else doesn't like the idea, but if it were the case it wouldn't need to be said.
