I'd like to be part of this focus group.
I have experience using them as a coalition cap FC and I'm one of the Imperium Skymarshals.

My experience with capitals varies from losing, building, killing and FC'ing them.
I'm excited for these changes and would like to use this opportunity to be involved.

Hello TEAM. I would very much like to be part of this capital focus group. Once upon a time my titan, Wasp O'Ryan, was deemed to be the most lethal titan. You know, when they were totally broken. I've done pretty much everything you can do with a Titan; DD'd friendlies, remote tracking boosted from a Nyx and solo-camped undocks, died, jumped instead of bridging - the works! I'm also an FC for a group that is known for using and moving capitals, especially coming up with inventive and out-of-the-box ways to use them. While a member of the CSM, I remained objective over what I felt was broken and what I felt wasn't whenever the topic came up.

I would very much cherish the opportunity to continue on with an objective discussion following one of my favorite ship-classes out there.

I'm available and ready to contribute. The majority of my extensive experience is in nullsec PVP ranging from solo hotdrops/doomsdays to FCing fleet fights in and out of TIDI. As a titan, supercap, and capital pilot I'm eager to offer my ideas and play devil's advocate to make sure any future cap changes are well thought out before launch.

I believe a nullsec fleet PVP perspective is particularly important to bring to the table for this discussion, especially one from outside the established (super)capital powerhouses like CFC or PL.

As a veteran alliance leader and aggressive FC currently fielding and fighting capitals on an almost daily basis, I'm particularly well positioned to take a big-picture approach to any changes rather than push for any vested interest or niche style of game play.

Where do I sign?

Oh and before I forget, I am here long enough, have seen all spaces and nobody dies on my watch when I am logi.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

I don't have much experience with null sec capitals but i have moderate experience with LS and a great deal of WH experience with carriers in all roles from solo triage and sister refitting to ruing as a full drone boat. I also have experiance comanding fleets of and against WH anti sub cap carriers and dreads

Hi,

Prior to joining CYNOU and Pandemic Legion this year, I was heavily involved with smaller lowsec entities such as HORNs and Tempest Legion that were very focused on the use of capitals in all aspects of PVP particularly in lowsec but also in the NPC nullsec systems. Our use of capital ships ranged from simple triage to leveling the playing field using dread escalations even if the grid was not considered "safe". Our philosophy was that capitals were not just something to be used on strategic ops to defend/create timers, but even on smaller fights where adding a single moros to support your sub caps could greatly swing the battle in your favor. We also were not afraid of "larger fish" as we developed tactics and metas that would ensure both successful entry and egress.

I feel as if I can bring these experiences to the table, along with the many other great minds that have already posted here, and provide a unique perspective on the use of caps from smaller lowsec entities that were able to operate even under the umbrella of larger and more powerful alliances.

Hello, I am a well versed triage pilot who would like to provide input on the upcoming force auxiliary ships. I also have experience flying dreadnaughts on a different account and would like to provide some input on that front as well. I have flown mostly in lowsec as a solo triage and have experience in wormholes also, I feel this experience puts me in a position to provide valuable feedback and I would love to join the focus group. Thank you.

I would be more than happy to help out. I have plenty of experience multiboxing dreds on siege ops, assisting with titan drive bys, getting sky netted etcetera. I also think that i bring a unique view when it comes to hunting caps. Since the creation of thera, a number of small gang entities have made a name for themselves hunting caps ( and small groups of them) with sub cap vessels. This gives me a rather unique experience to draw from.

I feel that i could add unique and well constructed arguments / opinions on cap chamges. Being apart of the T3D group discussion also allows me to have unique insight into what these focus groups already look like. Please let me know if I can be of any help in this regard.

Hello and good evening,

I would like to apply for the capital focus group.

I have played Eve since just after Beta, having watched capital warfare throughout all its stages develop and have also been apart of many of the major capital engagements the universe has seen.

While I enjoy late scale combat, I also almost more frequently use capitals in small fleets (wormhole space and pve inn0.0).

I have a number of dread and carrier pilot's as well as supers and titans and feel I have a good grasp on the mechanics of capital usage as it is presently.

I regularly contribute to the discussion on fleet composition in various outlets such as my podcast, blog and guest on shows such as the Open Comms show.

In real life I am a Firefighter, paramedic and entrepreneur in the medical and information technology space.

Thank you for reviewing my application.

I volunteer, I have been playing EVE now since 2003 i can fly every capital so far, and i’m experienced in doing so, and i have been flying in capital fleets and drops for as long as i can remember, i’m sussed up on the situation and i feel that i would be a valued player to contribute to the Capital focus group, and i have been part in some of the most creative use of supercaps when they were introduced to the game.

I am well versed at the mechanics of capital ships, in both PVE and PVP, from wormholes to low sec, to null.

Thanks

Hello. I'm unashamedly an eve Vet having bounced off eve a few times in the first year and then eventually stick with it in nullsec since the first great war. During those early months and years in nullsec I saw the deployment of dreads and carriers in their hayday of POS warfare and was on the receiving end of the worst supercap balance choice (the remote doomsday).

Since then I've flown and FCed a vast array of doctrines from small gang roaming and camping, mainline T3 and BS fleet all the way up to carriers, dreads and a Super-carrier cleaning crew in the Dominion SOV system.I am experienced with both fleet and solo / multibox use of caps and supers. For a time I had the record for most reimbursed caps in Goonswarm so my knowledge of cap combat is not just theoretical it is from repeated combat use of the ships.

I'd like to get to contribute to these changes because while I did agree with the need for something like the jump fatigue change I feel it was intelligent and did as much harm to activity levels in eve as it did good and I'd very much like to make sure citadels and Cap balance bring in a lasting new uptick in activity.

I used a capital ship once.... Sign me up.

I killed most of the people's caps (including those blue to me) in this thread, main fc for grr goons, and I shared a bed with Elise Randolph at EVE Vegas our child will be named pablo.

My calling in eve is being a capital ship pilot. I enjoy big ship gameplay and have a ton of experience with them - 7 years as a Nyx pilot, 8 years as a carrier pilot, and 4 or 5 years as a dread pilot. I have spent long periods of time in a top tier alliance (Red Alliance) and also in a mid tier alliance (IRC). Those provided completely different experiences for capital pilots so I can represent different types of players.

I've FC'd a few super capital structure grinding fleets and helped mentor new capital and super pilots in how to fit and fly their ships. I can use these experiences to provide feedback and ensure that capitals remain valued and aspirational ships that FC's are eager to deploy. That being said, I do believe in capital and subcapital balance so my feedback will be objective and focused on getting these ships right from all sides of the spectrum.

Thank you!

I want to be part of that group.

I have few years of experience flying capitals (both Dreads and Carriers) in Wormhole space. I have killed them, died in them. I've used them for both PVP and PVE (capital escalations). I've been on receiving end of Caps escalations go wring (hot-drops) and on the side doing the dropping.

Between my characters I can fly and flied all 4 carriers and dreads (although some not as extensively as others) and can give input on their strengths and weaknesses.

As for carriers my knowledge is limited to triage carriers. I never used them as pure drone boats (nether as fighter platform nor slow-cat variant). For dreads I have been using them both to fight other capitals and as blapping tracking dreads. My expierience is limited to capital use in WH.

I have used and fought capitals in WH space both: C5/6 wormholes (where its trivial to insert those for attacker and defender) and in lower class WH's (latetly in C4 and previously very briefly in C2) where they are used as force multiplier for defender.

I'd like to put myself forward.

With the exception of capitals in wormholes I can think of few activities with capitals and super capitals that I have not experienced.

From 150 pilot sentry carrier fleets, solo doomsday drive-bys out of range of support, combat triage vs. superior numbers, baiting hostile dreads with a super carrier and just about everything in between.

Prior to Phoebe I had 1000's of light-years travelled solo/running small groups with super capitals and took part in numerous engagements from the largest the game has seen to minor scuffles. Post-Phoebe I also have extensive (successful) experience moving super caps in hostile/semi hostile environments, fleet and solo combat, as well as planning and running large fleet cap/super movements.

I feel I have excellent experience and understanding of not only current mechanics surrounding caps and super caps but also the realities of what you can achieve in game using them.

Greetings.

I have flown carriers and dreadnoughts since late 2006. My combat experience has been with small to medium size engagements in lowsec and nullsec. I have tried pretty much all carrier playstyles, and would be glad to be of help.

Nothing that says I should be in the group any more than anyone else, however, I am a logi 5 pilot with experience in squad/fleet logistics and capital ship operation.

Even though i am sure there are many folks uniquely more qualified than myself, I would welcome the chance to see whats in store for cap logi platforms, and the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions about them as they go through their testing phases.

Hello,

I'm also going to give it a try. In terms of experience I cannot compete with names like Rocket X, Lazarus, Sebastien or Elise by any means but I may bring another perspective to the table than them.

Here is a carrier pilot who got into capitals post-Phoebe, who participated in the last big Dominion sov war, the defense of Fountain and purging of Delve exclusively as a capital pilot. I had structure grinds, capital vs. subcapital combat and capital vs. capital combat as well in the ZXB fight early this year and on several other occasions in Venal. Besides that I can look back fighting capitals from subcaps, be it a bomber, an Ishtar or a Tengu.

I was also a super pilot for a little while but sadly just post-Aegis so it never saw real action until I sold it eventually because I decided to pursue other goals in EVE.

I do have a big interest in making capitals useful and engaging to interact with since carriers are the sole reason I started playing EVE Online, the day I signed up - soon two years ago - I knew that my ultimate goal in EVE would be to fly such a ship one day. I would really like to continue flying capitals and make it enjoyable for others as well.

Due to my past experience on a game development team I understand the role of proper communication in order to achieve a common goal.

Hi, well worth its a shot to try and apply to the focus group, have flown carriers in all sorts of roles (slowcat, triage, and supers) along side dreads and really want to improve the gameplay of them for everyone.

also have some FC and first hand experience using capitals in general
