I've never been able to get the skinny on who my Genetic Legacy is formed from.

I originally had ninety-nine Sibkin. Some left. Some got left behind. And some... not many, but... some died.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I think I remember my mother saying that her DNA was on file with the Tube child program..... We could be related! Can I call you my brother?

My mother lives in Shenai town on Harerget VIII in the house where I grew up. She works as a novice in church of the Sisters at the medical center of the town. Father works in ORE corporation, but I haven't seen him for a long time. I hope they are fine.

Of course! Provided your Mother was Civire, there's a slim chance we're related.

Happy pop-song and skipping on the the cold concrete streets with arms outstretched in slow-mo ensures.

It may be better for 'em to forget that they ever had such a miserable offspring. There's really nothing to be proud of, but a lot to shame.

My family is dead.

I am Son of a Gallente Navy Officer and a Minmatar Thukker mother,

When I was 11 years old, the regiment that my father belonged got a suprise attack from Guristas Pirates disguised as Caldari Militia Insurgents during an occasional patrol duty.

My father was on one of the Fighters defending the perimeter of the mothership. I saw his sacrifice over to save the people on the ship from the ward's live feed.

When the suprise attack reached at its peak, as Regiment gave heavy losses against the Guristas Pirate’s forces, Gallente Mothership Captain ordered an immediate jump out , in an attempt to save the civilians abroad his ship. But with the sabotaged jump cores, as soon as drive got the lock on the cyno beacon, the core itself became unstable and swallowed the Nyx Class flagship together with the pirates. The space where nyx stood became a Black Hole in seconds then dissapeared.

During the incident, we already left the Nyx with my wounded mother. Escape pods' navigational computer system was damaged, and the gravitational anomaly of the black holes' event horizon made a slingshot effect and made them jump into a blackness.

When we woke up, I found the pod crashlanded on a Caldari Border Planet, owned by Ishukone Mega Corp in the New Caldari System. I was busy with trying to save my mother from the wreckage, the Ishukone Planetary Command Soldiers found us.

They tortured me for months with the claim of he being a Gallantean Agent. Used my crippled mother against me, they tortured and killled her when they understand that she is useless....

How I escaped.. Thats another story.

Holiness is in right action and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is in your heart and on your mind... And what you decide to do every day, makes you - not your race - a good man - or not.

'My son is a capsuleer making money that is measured in ISK and can provide for family for many lifetimes.

Also kicks alot of arse.'

Does this sound like something to be ashamed of?

Though my own father never liked it when I informed of my decision to enter the Capsuleer Programme curriculum, mostly because he had biases against capsuleers, borne form the days when he had to compete with capsuleers over salvage one can find frequently anywhere in the Skarkon system.

An ancient surface-to-orbit capable corvette that has no designation whatsoever commanded by a baseliner is simply no match to a capsuleer in a destroyer outfitted with salvagers, especially when said corvette is equipped with manually-operated winces and alot of the work had to be done in EVA suits with cutting lasers and pliers.

We still do not talk to each other much.

And to think I am in the middle of testing a Dragoon (of all destroyers) to determine the viability of combining salvaging with combat in a single vessel (use salvage drones to avoid compromising combat capabilities). He is so going to be mad at me.

The missus is still scowling at me for putting her in a Dragoon.

It could be something really similar to Saint-Clair's circumstances.

Can you claim to know her circumstances well enough to conclude that her family had a hard time dealing with an offspring who is now a capsuleer and may or may not have lost the original flesh-and-blood body?

There is nothing inherently shameful about having a capsuleer in the family. It all depends on how one views it.

In other words, your family is a confusing tangle of tree-branches. A little sequence from this family, a little from that family, another from yet another family...

You missed the point. As usual.

There's nothing about being a capsuleer or capsuleer's deeds. It's about being Saint-Clair and her deeds only. Lie, treachery, cowardice, self-addiction, sanctimoniousness. Pathetic filth that even we find disgusting.

At least the Caldari do not pay too much attention on detailed family trees.

That would be so much hassle.

So edgy. Capsuleers are filth, woo. Scary scary. Why, I'm practically quaking in my filth at the mere mention of it. Do you ever have anything not completely emo to add?

Sometimes it looks like some capsuleers see what they want to read and not what was written. Clonning process does not prevent it's products from being dumb still.
