Hi i have started playing 2-3 days ago and that's my ship i'm using now and fittings any suggestion and help will be useful as to what to aim to improve.

By the wait its not correct one of my scripts is for range and other for tracking on image it shows they are both the same.

afaik tracking computers give optimal range and tracking speed when not loaded with a script.

loading a script removes one bonus and doubles the other.

for example say wihtout a script the tracking computer gives +15% optimal and +15% tracking.

with an optimal script it gives + 30% optuimal and no tracking.

therefore (and correct me if im wrong) theres no point in running two tracking comps, one with optimal script one with tracking script becuase you will get the same bonus as using two tracing comps with no scripts.

in short u should either use optimal scripts in both tracking comps or tracking script in both comps. or leave the tracking comps without scripts for a bonus to both optimal and tracking.

now onto ur fit. pretty good for a newbro but you have armor resitance plating on there that u dont need. The merlin is a shield tank primarily.

also you want to get ur rigging skills up and use rigs. they give bonuses to ur ship. i think for new bros the capacitor control circuits are particularly useful.

try to get into something like this

tbh i dont really like this for you becuase even w the cap booster it only has 1 min of cap. however YOU DO NOT NEED to perma run your shield booster. just cycle it on and off as u need to.

a shield booster reepairs ur shield damage btw.

The fit above is pretty much spot on - though TBH in two or three more days you should easily be able to afford a Cormorant which will just simply rip though L1s without ever even gettings its paint scratched.

Rigs are completely overkill as is the Invuln/Booster (on the Cormorant) for L1s. For L2s in a Destroyer you'll have to T2 quite a bit and rig it so upgrading to a Cruiser is usually the easier (and safer) path.

I am trying to form a kitchen sink Merlin for PVP and FW.

The setup which I formed with pyfa cost around 4 mil , 120 dps /w range 3 km + 3 km falloff (null s)
In last week FW this setup served me well but I really open to any suggestions.

How can I improve this setup ? Please advise
