You go back and censor your old words to win new arguments and pretend no one notices. To stay reality for one more day. You face the torrent from every single other person you know who points at you and tells you what they see with more screams of "you liar." Your friends, your enemies, casual observers... You attack all of them because reality is too painful to consider.

You have alienated every friend who once cared enough to even try to reach you through your psychosis. You run from every enemy who you know will break you while screaming at them how cowardly they are. So you can remain a hero of the state, an honorable combat pilot. So you can elude reality for one more day.

You think you fool a single person but yourself. You think you can shout something long enough and loud enough that people will forget but Diana, no one has forgotten. They just stopped caring enough about you to even bother. The entirety of your state you claim loyalty to condemns your idol as a traitor and a terrorist and you insist that every other person in the State is wrong.

Every single other person in the State is wrong, but not Diana Kim. Reality has no hold on this psychosis, this broken person, barely alive.

You long ago stopped thinking, now you only regurgitate. You can barely recognize individuals anymore, only what your neocom tells you their heritage is, only hate reserved for a special few who you repeat the name of chanting "liar, liar, liar." You run, you hide, you cower, you protest, and you complain. You try to play the victim and you pretend that anyone at all is fooled for a second by you. So you can pretend for one more day that every one of the trillions of people in your state are wrong. So you can pretend for one more day you have any honor left. Honor you sold out years ago to keep this lie to yourself going, better to go back and edit your words than to admit them.

You live only in the tolerance of those who have not yet grown tired of you. You gain attention only when that tolerance of your constant flowing river of **** brings you back into fashion.



The only one lying is you. The only one buying the lies is you.
