Hi, I been looking for a pve fit for the Apocalypse and can't find anything new, everything is couple years old.

I was following a build last time I played but I quit the game and now that I'm back, It looks like I didn't save the fit on the fitting UI menu of the game.

I found this post Apocalypse PVE fit from 2013 here on the forums but I don't if still reliable. I can almost use all the T2 from that page mids and lows except for the torrets.

I'm trying to use the Apocalypse as the main Aggro/tank and have a Dominix snipe from the distance. But if there is a fit to solo it even better. So I can do them by myself.

Thank you

There are few apocalypse fits because it's a bad ship for PVE.
It has no damage bonus and is locked to EM/Ther.

If you absolutely must use lasers, try a Nightmare or Paladin.

It's sub optimal but it isn't a bad ship, true range bonus = damage bonus because you can use higher damaging crystals out further.

I'm on my phone right now so I can't post a fit but
What you want is two mission specific active armour hardeners ,a dcu, a load of heatsinks .

Mids are mjd, tracking computers and a cap booster,

t2 pulses of you can't fit a full rack of tacyon beams(needs advanced weapon upgrades V )

Basic principle is mjd out/land at range , pop all the small stuff first , then go for the cruisers

Edit: the navy apocalypse is actually just a flat upgrade where pve is concerned , more slots = better damage/application and it's inline with training for a paladin which is what you actually want.

Bastion, you don't need tracking computers for pulses and there is one heat sink too many on, 2 are enough, fit a rep (one).

And yeah megabeams are fine with one rep. That still leaves room for the mwd/mjd, whatever you prefer and read my thread that got a sticky.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

with pulse I'd still fit tracking computers, you give up too much range by not fitting them. no tracking comps is 61+13 with scorch, 2x tracking comps 79+20. And that is 22km -> 28km optimal with conflag (falloff is the same as with scorch)

I like locus rigs. t2 give +20% optimal, and that on a range bonused boat is a lot of optimal. Also the sensor booster is nice to boost lock speed on npc frigs/cruisers. nice to be able to pop them when they spawn before they can get moving. Then the hyper rigs are there for extra warp speed, 2au/s is freaking slow.

I think MJD fits can be nice to learn the missions, but as a regular mission runner they don't help outside of specific circumstances.

overall I don't really like t1 amarr bs for pve. With recharge setups they either have too much or not enough cap, and usually one mod makes a huge difference. and fittings feel a bit tight. being able to jump into a nightmare or paladin makes it so much better.
