Hey all, i was curious on a few questions and things firstly , i can drive pretty much any cruiser pretty well and working on my BC "harbinger" and i was curious if some one could help me or link me a fit that i can go do missions with and that could tell me what level of mission i can do with it

secondly im curious on incursions

what are they?
what do you do?
what are the requirements?
do they make alot of isk?
are they work your the time "can be opinionated or a fact"?
would a cruiser or something else actually be able to join up and get some isk out of it?
how often can i do one?

The harbinger will do a great job on level 3 missions, but I wouldn't recommend it for level 4s.

If you're seriously interested in running a lot of missions, the Drake is probably the most useful battlecruiser. You'll need missile skills, which you might be short on if you're looking at a Harb.

For Incursions you'll want a battleship, unless you want to work logistics and do remote repair for the fleet. Logi pilots are expected to really know their stuff in an Incursion, so you don't want to start with that.

Agreed as to the Harbinger making a good level 3 mission boat (properly fit) against Blood Raiders, Sansha, and Rogue Drones. Less so against Mercs, EOM, Serps and a rather bad choice against Angels and Guristas. For Level 4s you will have to train AMarr BS. You could cross train a Drake, but it is not so economical for level 4s. For level 4s you will be facing lots of BSs, and you will want BS weapons against those rats for the most part.

Incursions:

"what are they?" - Group pve content introduced in the expansion prior to Incarnate. THere is a tab in your journal that tells you where the existing incursions are happening.

"what do you do?" - As with other pve, you shoot red blinkys of different sizes and effects. However, because it requires about 9 or more ships to complete a vanguard site, at least economically, some people fly tech II logistics cruisers to repair the damage the red blinkys dish out on everyone. Also, you will have to get on evevoice and listen to your group commander (FC) to know which red blinkys to shoot and in when.

"what are the requirements?" - The ability to use evevoice and listen per above. The ability to click your mouse or keyboard to accomplish said objectives of killing the red blinkies in a relatively safe and economical manner per your FC's instructions.

"do they make alot of isk?" - "are they work your the time "can be opinionated or a fact"?" - Yes. A rather easy, repetitious, but admittedly enjoyable ISK faucet once you get to know them (at least vanguards). Assault and headquarters sites are more dangerous and more of a hastle to build and keep up a fleet to do them with, so consequently they are not a similar isk faucet.

"would a cruiser or something else actually be able to join up and get some isk out of it?" - Not really. A tech II cruiser might get you an invite to fleet (minmatar recon, or HAC such as a Zealot) and a Logistics Cruiser will definitiely get you an invite. In general a tech I cruiser, will not get you an invite. A faction cruiser or a BC might get you an invite, but so many of the folks doing them have tech III, or faction BSs now that the faction cruisers and BCs will have a hard time getting an invite. A tech I BS will do better than both those. But, Pirate BS, Marauder, Faction BS, Command Ship, Tech III, Logistics are what most fleets want.

how often can i do one? - Once you get in a fleet it depends on the damage output of that fleet, the tactics enabled by the damage output of the fleet, and the stability of the fleet (members not dropping for rl matters). Another factor is how many other fleets are trying to run them in the system. Two fleets enter, one fleet profits . . .

To have a decent possibility of getting invited to a fleet in a harbinger you will need tech II heavy pulses in your highs, 2 tracking computers a web or painter in your mids, and a 1600 plate resist mods and 2 preferably faction heat sinks in your lows, and intelligent rigs, trimark/resist/damage enhancing types. So, as a new player you will have to focus your training. There are many threads on incursions. So also read up to know what ships and how to fit them (i.e. no local repper, buffer and resists plus remote reps from the logis are your tank)
