If my stuff would've been headed anywhere, it would've been plex4good. I already contracted a trillion isk worth of AT ships to Chribba before, but I wasn't quite ready to leave and settled for having a Malice auctioned off and donating another 90 bil with it. Now my confidence in CCP is shaken. The fact that you are disappointed that some rare ships go unused is not a valid reason to go back on CCPs word and release twice as many more. The Alliance Tournament is lucky enough to have the time and resources dedicated to creating new ships EVERY year, yet it's to much to come up with something new after 12+ years? Give me a break.

You can ask Chribba to corroborate my story.

I guess I regret not going out then.

I feel no sorrow for you dude. Not one bit. Markets, ships, etc are a gamble. This entire game is nothing but vaporware imo and all of it can be created and destroyed by a few lines of code. To get all pissy about lines of code in the end is pathetic even to me and thats saying something.

It all really means nothing to me. It's that fact that they go back on their word over some devs personal disappointment. Really what is done with a Silver Magnate after it's been awarded is no devs business as long as it's not against the Eula. I enjoyed collecting rare ships that I chose to invest in on CCPs word that they would never release again. I don't need your sorrow nor your reply. The whole lot was destined for plex4good.

I'm sorry but that line of reasoning has nothing to do with the fact of a company's integrity. I've been playing since 2004 myself and I absolutely feel for Cody. I'm just about on the last straw myself purely for the same reasons. Over the last 5 years eve has gone no where but downhill. I'm holding out for the citadels, capitals and new sov changes and if they're all a bust I'll come back when they release something new and stick with it. Drifters are a dead plot line that had me hooked and there has been no word of them in a few months(aside from incursion drama). Nothing keeps me hooked anymore and quite honestly I don't even care to get hooked. Because I really don't trust ccp to follow through with it.

Same goes for myself in Cody's case. The magnate unique ships should have never been rereleased. There was something inherently unique that these collectible "one of a kind" things existed. But no more. And simply saying "stop crying its code" is not a valid argument. How would you feel if you worked your ass off to get one of these ships because it was what you wanted, then the next week more are introduced after they said a week ago that they wouldn't be. It's just not right.

2003 here and I have worked my ass for for a lot of **** thats just turned into fairy dust over the years. Quite frankly if you dont enjoy it for what it IS, and not its WORTH in isk, then you arent actually a collector. A collector cherishes the item itself and not the value. Its the personal value not the aggregate isk value that should mean something. But hey, I take it you dont actually collect things in real life that arent also "valuable" to others in $$ terms. So sad.


The game should have been whats fun. And your store of value shouldve been in IT not the items that will always change in value. If you want real world examples talk to the people that will wheelbarrow sheds of money to buy a loaf of bread. Value changes, get used to that.

The value of my items were relevant in terms of how much could be donated to help a real world cause. I guess you see no value in a companies integrity or word either. I could've continued on with Eve and still had ample enough isk to do whatever. The isk nor the items are not why I choose to walk away. I'm sorry your small mind cannot comprehend that. It is just code... code that could've been turned into something much greater. I played Eve many years and built my wealth for very selfish reasons. It could've ended differently.

I do not take orders from you. I refuse to support CCP atm for the previously stated reasons. If they correct these grievances, then I will take the time to come back, contract everything to Chribba and auction off my characters. (Yes, even the character you insist on being biomassed can be used.) Until then, I must flatly refuse.
