Hello, I'm a returning player to eve. Before I traded this character I was a full time pvp player, and than traded for a mining character as I was tired of fighting every time I logged in. I got heavily into mining before I quit, and very much enjoyed that but I wasn't making very much isk. I wanted to get into the science side of the game, but school got busy. These are my skills: my character

I have alot of skills trained in science, and production as you can see but unfortunately have no idea how those work. This is the character I have, so I want to make use of it and enjoy the game and make some isk finally to support myself into bigger things. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your character can invent and manufacture practically anything in the game. You can easily add T3 cruisers & subsystems by upgrading your subsystem skills to level 4 and Jury Rigging 5.

I would recommend talking to a nullsec industry corp - several are currently advertising in the recruitment forum - they have the knowledge to use your skills and I'm sure they will be happy to recruit someone who can build Strategic cruisers and Super Capitals!

spreadsheets. thats the easiest way to find the profit.

get one spreadsheet for refining ore (a new once since thy changed all that not long ago), and then another for manufacturing. theres too many to add them all, so just build your model for whatever your considering making. that will show you not only what makes ISK, but how many you need to sell at current prices to make a profit after the cost of the BPO, and how long it would take to make that many. the higher the profit margin, the sooner you can see a return on your initial investment.

if you do refine your own ore, you will need to max your ore skills to 5 and grab a good implant, in order to make that a better option than buying minerals directly. keep in mind that the estimate will not include your implant.

if your invention skills are good, then you can sell BPC for a profit. doing this is slightly easier if you have high standings with R&D corps.

If you want to work on your own, the Isk Per Hour (IPH) application is for you. Even if you don't, IPH is still very handy.
