It's not as simple as point guns, make stuff explode; a tech 3 destroyer has a small sig radius, is very quick and very
manoeuvrable. The chance of you hitting it are based on its angular velocity, its traversal speed, the size of the target it presents; your speed, the rate at which your guns track, the ammo you use and effective range also come into play.
