Should Gnosis recieve more love?

1. I kinda like this ship very much i bet many share the same
2. the last update on the battlecruisers made some balances and changes for the battlecruisers but seems the only Gnosis been left out
3. what will you think if any changes would made to Gnosis

No need for more love when it comes to the gnosis. Considering you can get into that ship without any skills what so ever, its more of a perfect starter ship then any other ship in this game.

I get the idea of starter ship and I think it is doing its purpose. Although I am still thinking would that be any changes can make this ship even have its specialty in a later game, u dont see them a lot lately

Well they are limited numbers, so that you see them less and less often is simply due to them being killed.
With that said tho, I do tend to see them quite often in low sec, with their impressive slot layout they can field a couple of sensor boosters (giving them the scan res of a frig), fit tackle, mwd and cap injector and still have both tank and damage mods in lows.

Gnosis should become an LP reward through SOCT, since they actually have stations in Empire space.
Nothing more. No changes, at all. Just, do missions for SOCT, receive Gnosiseses.

The Gnosis is very strong and does not need an update.

The Gnosis is scary good and was arguably the most powerful CBC in the game, after the update it might be as far ahead as the others, but it's a very good ship and incredibly versatile.


It has insane scan res for a CBC making it a great Gate Camper/Station Camper,

It has Even resist profile, which mean a resist hole can't be exploited. Though it is difficult to get the Gnosis past 80%,

A DPS Shield Gnosis can easily break 1000DPS

A Brick tanked Gnosis also gets a fairly good tank, Not on the Drakes current level but still fairly good.

It can be shield or Armor fitted, and can fit all weapons systems making it unpredictable as all hell. You don't know what your fighting until the fight happens which is a huuuge boon.

And although it's about as fast as an dual Plated Battleship, it's align times are also incredibly fast.

Repairs are completely free.


The Gnosis is no way a ship that needs a buff,

Gnosis as gifts in very limited numbers in the future would be cool as they are very useful imo. But not in such great numbers as to destroy the worth of it. Perhaps as gifts to new accounts? Other than that Im happy with it as is. I think Valkin summed it up in his post quite well.

Limited Edition assets often get left behind in rebalancing passes - the relatively high usage of the Gnosis is certainly an arguement for it to keep up however.

There should be no further Gnosis releases though; like the Apotheosis it celebrates a milestone - one which will never come round again - and I think it should remain special because of that.
If a supply of such ships, suited to rookies, is considered a worthwhile then I feel that it should be duplicated, given a different name, a different skin (not SKIN) and a route to market which is accessible to those same rookies (a supply should not provide an income stream for vets or farmers - not if the primary customers are rookies).

I really want the gnosis not to be a limited edition ship, It has a very special place in my heart, It was the first ship ever than killed me when I started eve.

Wonder if its a good idea to fully introduce it into the game, Although it being a ''meh'' ship it shouldn't have any problems but I'm hoping for the ''muh eve economicsssss'' folk to explain otherwise.

My thoughts? Honestly in my opinion, the Gnosis is better at looking like how T3's should end up than the T3's...and better balanced I might add. Go figure, right?

It is sad that it is a limited edition ship, though fortunately there are plenty of them still around to get your hands on a few for reasonable expense and effort. Get them now while you can, I suppose is what I'm saying.

The Gnosis is my favorite ship to have and not actually fly. I swear I can't find a fit I like long enough to wait for the session change.

Love 'em.

I've actually tailored a large chunk my game play to these sweethearts.......

You can basically use them for anything you ever want to do in EVE, except PVP and hauling.

Exploration, PVE, Jet can mining, ninja loot & salvage, wormhole daytrips, you name it.


If there was one thing I'd love to see buffed on it, it would be drone bandwidth.

( But that would more than likely OP it.)
