A ship for jump freighting assembled ships

As someone that is looking into doing some Incursions in nullsec, I noticed EVE is missing some decent jump freighting ship for assembled ship - something like a Bowhead mixed with Rhea.

At the moment, you either use the carriers / etc., but they have smaller range than JFs and don't help with jump fatigue. Alternatively, you can use Rorqual that helps with the fatigue, but still has a limited range for each jump.

It would be ideal if Rorqual's jump range was increased, or we would see some jump capable version of Bowhead constructed. The latter would probably be better - it would allow for transporting ships straight from highsec into low / null and not interfere with what Rorqual could do as a potential combat ship.

Why don't you just lobby for an incursion generator in your sov systems?

If only the rest of us had you 'problems' and your balls to beg for more handouts.

It's interesting that you point out LS incursions for a new ship that would be (ab)used for everything except getting ships to stated LS incursions.

-1 for a ship class that has potential to be abused by large organizations on a rediculous level.

-3 for poor camoflaging (you guys used to be so much better at this sort of thing)

What is the problem with Jump Fatigue in all the cases? It is one hour at max and you should be in that incursion for at least an hour to get any credible money out of it. Even if you did 2 jumps in a row, you'd get about 3-5 hours of fatigue, which you should also be able to spend in an incursion easily. I do not quite see how fatigue is a problem here.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

He'll claim the incursion is too many jumps away, so fatigue will accumulate.

He just wants a bunch of ships he can fill up w/ fleet hurricanes and jump them in mass fitted all over eve. Then the minions can race to them in interceptors. It's much more efficient.

This has nothing to do with incursions, don't take the bait.

Carriers can do it, but not in highsec. Soon allcapitals will be able to do it, but still not in highsec--also I have a feeling that freighters and jump freighters aren't going to count as part of that "all capitals" thing.

I see precedence for it. It might be something that CCP wants us to not have, however.

It's almost as if CCP added jump fatigue to make this hard to do? Display some adaptability and stop whining.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

The Rorqual cannot carry a Basilisk. I think you meant to say "Orca."

obviously because it would be abused in scenario`s like:

big alliance has fight on the other side of eve they use the JF to jump all the ships (with several cyno chains already in place) and all pilots will travel in interceptors. lets rumble. And this is exactly why CCP introduced jump fatigue.

JF pilots gets way less fatigue and this is possible because it CANT move fitted ships in bulk

since when can a rorqual:

A. put fitted ships in ship hangar that is NOT a industrial?
B. enter high sec?

FWIW, apparently this restriction is being removed with the capital rebalance early next year.

I came looking for something interesting.
I read and left disappointed that this is just another give us a way to circumvent the power projection nerfs.
On my way out I will just leave this here.
