Copying blueprint - rounding or not working right?

I recently put in missile guidance computers and enhancers to make a single max run BPC (100 and 200 respectively), only to find the end result was just shy of what was ordered. Don't have the exact numbers on me (already used them some) but it was like 1 or 2 runs off. I checked the history to see if I had set the job up incorrectly but found no jobs at that odd number.

Something I'm missing or just a bug?

That must have been a bug, [i]assuming[/i ]what you're saying is correct. You should get the exact amount of runs that you put in when the job is started.

Likely an oversight upon submitting a job.

For what it is worth, if you split a manufacturing job into multiple jobs so it completes faster, it is very likely to require more materials than a single job, because of how the rounding is done.

You shouldn't encounter rounding issues making copies.

Maybe you accidentally poked the mousewheel when "runs" box was active, happened to me couple times, sometimes i notice, sometimes i get short runs.

wouldn't the job history reflect an error on my part though?

That it indeed would, but every time i have had mismatching number of runs it has been just a human error on my part.
Copies going to wrong hangar, accidents with decryptors, fumbling with mouse, etc

You can't rely upon it.

In my experience, every BPO has its own "last use" settings. This can be an issue when using multiple BPO.
