Stuck in character selection screen

UPDATE: Launching from the eve.exe file results in a prompt that states: "The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Please restart the client prior to logging in."


I got the same problem!
and i tried on different PC, but doesnt help.

Same problem, was stuck at the loading screen. Waited for several minutes, then restarted the game. Worked this time, but I never had this problem before

Getting this when i try to go through the exe. other than that the same black screen at my chr selection.


Im having the same issue on this account aswell, mij other accounts seems to be not affected

Ticket is the only way

lots of post here, and first ones from a few days ago (blood raiders?)

then someone reports a queue issue after getting fixed by support ticket, and a patch note says something about reimbursing skill point because blood booster were not working correctly (negative sp or something)
anyone who had a black screen, did you use a booster recently, a blood raider one for example?

(that, plus brain in box around the corner, pure assumption but in vegas they said BITB was now or next week, speculation, overruled.)

call me paranoid but it seems suspicious
can't someone identify all the account getting black screen without getting called by users?

edit : well this post is much older than the wave there is on this forum, but it doesn't change the fact that there is a problem, and if the support can fix it, it may be identifiable ("may" is the key word here)

When I launch client all I get is a black screen with a loading resource button in the bottom left of the screen.

I have tried all the fixes but none are working

everyone with this issue needs to open a ticket if cleaning doesn't work, it is server side apparently, so only support can help you

It would be nice if this issue was promoted to the LAUNCHER so people arent nuking every registry and folder connected to CCP and EVE trying to solve the issue thinking its software/hardware on their side. As I have been doing for the past two days. With multiple GB's redownloaded attempting to troubleshoot this on myside.

If the bloodraider booster is causing issues, the masses should be warned.

Putting in a ticket now so I can actually use this account again.

Same here - my main account can't log in, but my alt can. It worked yesterday but seems to have broken between last night and this morning. A fix would be appreciated! :)

I used a Blood Raiders booster, but so did my alt, and my alt still works. However, this char has Biology trained, whereas my alt does not.

Same Problem like all others.
I got 3 Accounts and this one canĀ“t login into Game .
I have all done . Started Rescache.exe and after that i deleted the Cache.
Nothing happend
Thats frustrating. Plz CCP fix that .

Same issue here, attempting the rescache fix now gonna see if that fixes it, support ticket in already, I am hoping this is not a server side issue.

I do have the same problem as some of you, client launches and does not freeze, does not show the character selection screen. One account has the issue, two others work fine. Doesn't matter wether I use the OSX client or the one running with WINE.

I digged into the LogServer-Tool and found out there is a database exception being logged about a constraint violation in a trigger. I sent a ticket and sit still, heavily breathing and waiting for an answer.
