I have often wondered about the exact moment that a primary star becomes a binary star. What cosmic touch lead to such destiny? As God touches even the most minute Helium atom, He must know from the beginning that that atom shall one day burn brightly in a furnace of life. But more so that that furnace is destined to be mated for all time with another.

That binary stars often grow about each other is known, but what of those that drift upon one another. Imagine the crash as they meet. A torrent of flame and heat so destructive that each star threatens to consume the other until one is indistinguishable from another. In time a balance is found and so they begin to dance about one another into fate. Envision the unity they must feel, could they feel. To have discovered one another in such a vast nothingness, to have shared such pain and such ecstasy.

And what of a trinary star? So rare a thing. What cosmic breath of God should bring such luck. And what of the newcomer? Does she know the destruction that she will cause? Can she dream of the joy as well? What pull could she possibly exert upon her destined mates that they would orbit her in three part tandem? Or rather, will some new breathe chance upon her course that she will only drift closely by with but a few exchanges? Deemed unworthy of such fate will she know only the slightest touch of what could have been and yet tumble once more into loneliness?

So would it be with us, that beings such as us would burn just as brightly and chance upon a fate that, like the stars in the heavens about them, brings them such joy, such pain, such ecstasy that they might know it for all time.
