So I flew my first incursion today in a meta blaster dps fit rokh. I am not done training on this character so I was hoping for some input as to whether I should level up large hybrid turrets to V so I can equip t2 on my rokh? Or if I should tech up to a vindicator and fit it with the modal blasters in what I believe would be less time than skilling large turrets.

Thanks, any help here is appreciated!

for balsters vindis are the path to go.

for shield fittings look at TVP's website dunno what WTM use, they have some good fittings and not just all pimped ones there are entry level to advanced.

For armor you are looking towards TDF, they have mailinglists i think. pop by the channels and have a look at the website and the mailing lists.

There are HQ/AS fittings and VG fittings so look into both. VG's are quicker but less money. AS are a bit weird, depends on fleet and FC. HQ's are generally best ISK per hour but I prefer the more social aspects of smaller fleets.

I dunno what fleet you ran with whether VG/AS or HQ but try all and try multiple communities, find a group you like and that you are happy with.

Also join the ingame channel "Incursion Public" for a full list of the more active inc communities. including language specific channels

Everything Xylem said sounds pretty good.

For your particular question, I know WTM would rather you get into the vindi first, then skill for blasters. You're dps increases vs time trained would be much better going that route. Would probably want to get both bs's to lvl 3 or 4, then go back to training hybrids. That is of course assuming you're not mapped for training hybrids. If you're already mapped, then I guess it's up to you? I'd still think getting into the vindi would be the better option.

vindi without minny and gallente 4 isnt worth it IMO, vindi apart from the dps is the webs and at level 3 for the training time it isnt worth it, and a vindi web helps everyone shooting that target,

In HQ's vindi's will create killboxes with as many targets as possible webbed down and blaster with void in the face, if you dont have strong webs then things can escape or have a bit much speed to apply as much damage as they could do.

I would honestly suggest minny BS and gallente BS 4 then t2 blasters then BS 5. if you have minny BS 5 then do yourself a favour and everyone else and use true sansha webs, at bs 5 skills a TS web with OGB is 82.5% at 21km.

Just my opinion though others may disagree

This and start with gallente so you can leave your Rokh and hop in a navy mega.
