This maybe locked or moved, but I feel I would not be doing a fellow American and eve player justice if I didn't share. Sorry Falcon you can ban my account but this has to be seen by my fellow eve players. My heart hurts and she deserves answers.

Did I just see you use the death of a universally beloved figure in our community as a political agenda?
I expect crappy behavior out of you, Black, but I didn't think even YOU were this bad.

Yep this is clearly posted with the intent of political agenda rather than a respectful memory to a beloved community figure.

So expectations of accountability are indicators of political agenda? How dare ppl question the actions of political figures when they are running for office. You're just supposed to elect them, sweep it all under the rug and get back in the flock w the rest of the sheep. Understood. You should wear your PC police badge more prominently.
The most respectful thing that can be done is hold the people responsible accountable.

The video OP shared was of a grieving mother, not of a political campaign and anyone coming on here and trying to turn it into something other than sympathy for the woman should be ashamed.

It's not just Americans outraged by that incident, and rightly so. Everyone I knew in the military/security - or just anyone with a brain - went ballistic over that incident.

But as a not-American, I will say. My father left Kabul in the 60s, and the moderate groups are just as upset right now watching fanaticism spread like a virus. It's rooted in Saudi, fyi.

We watched 9/11 live and multiple groups ran prayers that day. They haven't even stopped grieving over that in time to stop their own kids being brainwashed and pulled into conflict zones. You have no idea what people are experiencing on the ground, and you wouldn't want to in the Kush because there are unmanned drones actively whacking villages to get to one insurgent.

And we have to live among you, work harder, be abused more, and take it. For things we didn't even sign upto in the first place. And watch that from a distance. Your self-righteousness offends me. Your annoyance isn't likely to match the suffering of whole communities condemned to live in a warzone dustbowl, so that your citizens could play CoD, whine about obesity and impotence and offend me.

Don't start these discussions here please.

I'm not addressing any of the side-tracking points, here.
Everyone respected Sean Smith.
Every time I hear a politician or a news outlet say the name "Benghazi", it makes me want to punch people in the face.
None of them care about the people who died. They only care about their agenda. I didn't watch the video because I'm sure it's just Fox News trying to slam someone who isn't going to win the election anyway.

Not cool. Stop trying to stir the **** pot.
You want to remember the guy for who he was? Talk about all the cool stuff he did, and how awesome he was to nearly everyone he ever spoke to.

Actually it was MSNBC, a pointedly liberal news source and supporter of Clinton. All the more reason it was offensive to behave as if it was a politicaly motivated and disrespectful towards the man's mother.

First of all, MSNBC has been supporting Sanders. You must be thinking of CNN.
Second of all... why did Black present it like a political agenda if it was meant otherwise?

I told you all... I don't want to get drawn into a political debate over this.
This doesn't belong in general discussion, and as an EVE player, I find it offensive that I can't even get away from this disrespectful rhetoric, here.

Sorry if you took this as a political agenda post. I posted it cause I honestly felt bad for her and the unknown. Please don't read into it anymore then that. I do not put blame on a messed up situation just on the fact she deserves to know the truth about her son and what happen.

What do you hope to achieve with posting on an international game forum about spaceship real live event related information?

You know it will get locked you stated as much so why do you do it?
5 minutes of internet fame? Go YOU!
Go to a relevant section of the forum or even better a different forum to get your fix.

I guess if he was a football player the truth would matter more. The fact is people mess up and the moms and dads are left to question everything. Then small cracks happen and the truth finds its way out and moms and dads can move on. That is what happens in Pats death. The fact is the game you are playing is mentioned over and over again in this interview. This game along with many other mmo games are played and watched by news outlets around the world.

You are not willing to have a single post in the same forums we talk about so very much; not even exist. If we are catalyst for her finding peace and closer then so be it. We raise millions of dollars for victims around the world and yet a gamers mom who was apart of our universe is not worth our time or discussion.

Do me a favor and at least send a letter or email to your government rep asking for answers to what happen. You will give plex for a faceless victim but you would not be willing to take up the cause for Sean's mom to have answers. I have seen faceless charity do a tremendous amount of good in the world; If you can affect change for a known person like Sean's mom then why would you not at least embrace sending a email or letter asking for her pain to have some rest.

"5 minutes of internet fame? Go YOU!" If you think this is about me you are grossly mistaken.

Please understand I have no pony in the race for this election and would only like to see a mom come to some closure.

His mum deserves an answer. She's not going to get it from EvE Online players.

Mixing this RL politics back into game is bad.

Drop this now, please - if you want to help someone or run a campaign, this is not an appropriate venue.

My point: a guy that everybody liked is dead because some zealot wants to misinterpret his religion. A fellow veteran. A fellow capsuleer. A fellow American.
You bring up Pat Tillman, too? Well, guess what? You can leave him out of political rantings as well. Again.... a fellow Soldier and a fellow American.

If you can't be talked out of this, there's nothing more I can do in this thread. I hope they ban you, Black. They should have done that a long time ago.

Be really careful on this. Jesus just informed me that your forumfu fails and I missed referencing something.. from my last assignment. Ooops.

But She also informed me that all Americans are rebel gobble gobble tax dodging muppets in need of a good spanking. Preferably by baguette wieldiing Frenchies. She might have mixed those up with yuppies tho. Carry on.

While I agree with your description of most Americans, I hardly think that's in good taste, considering the context of this thread.
