Hi all

I'm a fan of http://evehq.co/

Nice:
+ you can fit according to your skills and available boosters and implants.
+ you can make a plane of skills in same tool
+ one tool for fitting, market and assets. Easy to get overview of belongings.
+ industry
+ POS fitting
etc.

Discuss?

I agree!

I have been using evehq for years. It's just nice to have everything essential in one place.

You will find that the EvE HQ vs PYFA vs EFT battles can rival those about any other object in game or real life.

I use EvE HQ as my primary but it has some downsides.
There have been several times over the years where it has fallen behind because the developers do not have time to keep it up.
Implants are a part of the character instead of the ship / fit, since I use many clones with different implant sets this can be frustrating at times. Essentially the implants should be a part of the ship / fit not the pilot but that is personal preference.

PYFA has the implants as a part of the ship / fit and that is easier and quicker to use at least for me. There are a few things about the UI that I like better than EvE HQ but not enough to use it as my primary.
This may be my own experiences but upgrading has always been a problem, I have to back up all the fits before I upgrade and import them again after or I loose all my fits. Yes I know folks they are not that hard to enter and you should keep them backed up anyway. The entire upgrade process of having to download and install the new and then delete the old seems well old fashioned and out of place in today;s world.

EvE HQ is my go to tool, however I use PYFA a lot because it has some nice tools that EvE HQ does not.

EFT - let's not go there, how and why this program became as popular as it is escapes me because there is nothing about it that I even remotely like. But then there are many who will disagree with me on this and their opinions are just as valid as mine.

It been passed around a couple of times when the guy working on it didn't have the time to support it. I think it is back with the original guy (sorry if I'm wrong no offence to current developer) and it's still awesome!

You can make an own "implant setup", few of them different, as you have only 5 clones, so probably you will not change implant setup until you die and choose it instead of character implants. Just a field "under" character in EveHQ Fitter.
Having implants as "separate" from ship and make me possible to see all of my characters have possibility to fly it "out of pod" or not t.ex.

Very nice tool. You can also see skills that can be improved and its efficiency on different parameters.

Yeah I have different implant setup for my toons. It's very handy when fitting ships etc to quickly see which implant setup works and what effects it has.

When was the last time you looked at the Infomorph skills?
With the basic and the advanced skills it is possible to have 10 clones for each character and some of us them all.

In this case I would agree the EvE HQ way of multiple implant sets can be useful.
