https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=450735&find=unread Meant to ask ISDs to lock a WTS thread. BOnd still on track.

UPDATE 10/25

I am looking to expand this bond by another 10b to a total of 18b at the same terms as Some explanation as to the reason for expansion:

The nature of the investment I am currently making are such that almost all my sell orders are completed in a non-trade hub on weekends. This allows me to fairly passively modify buys on weekdays and then sell on weekends. I currently put about 10-13b over the past two weeks in buy orders and make 2.5b or so in profit per week. This 10b will be used to expand my trading operations in the following ways: 4b for a new trade char to put in amarr and 6b for additional capital to max out current inestments. I eve mailed AC 155 offering this privately, but have not received a response yet, so I'm opening it up publicly. Please let me know about any concerns.

My first concern is ac filled this less than 1 month ago, you have no payment history on this loan as of yet. And your already expanding.

That is a very fair concern, and there really isn't anything I can say other than that I acknowledge it.

Off-topic note: I woke up very early this morning and saw your initial post, went back to sleep, woke up again, saw this. Until I saw that little edited thing, you had me convinced I was gong mad.

How far do you plan on expanding? I give you 10B and 2 days from now you ask for 20 for more expansion?

No need, I fully admit it. Well played.

Me, actually. Going in to the bond I intended to be legitimate, but I folded under the possibility of easy money.

Scammers are people too. I just want to state for the record that I am a good person. If you were a new trader, spent 3 weeks trading to make 3 billion, and then someone gave you 8 billion isk with no guarantee, I'm sure some of you reading this would have done the same. I understand now that I have lost any modicum of trust, but please, do not think ill of me as a person.

It really is a crying shame, though. You seriously have the most trust-worthy looking portrait I've seen in EVE (if there is such a thing), and it matches perfectly with your corp name. I almost filled the expansion myself, had a brave hero not revealed the scam.

Not to mention I was in the process of mailing "Chmmr Avatar" on my industry character asking if I can get an invite into the corp. Something about the name greatly appealed to me.

I'm sorry but that's really no excuse, just because someone "gives" you ISK with no guarantee doesn't mean your best, most logical option is to throw any trust in the trash and just walk with it. It's pretty scummy to do and painfully predictable. Not only do you tarnish your own reputation, you may put off anyone else from placing that same trust in someone who is actually legitimate just looking for capital with no intention to scam.

I never said it was my best, most logical option. Not everyone acts logically all the time, although I do try. Eve is a character study of what happens when the rules are few and you cannot die. Everyone makes their own choices. Scamming is a career for some, and in the choices CCP gives us, it is just as legitimate as trading, which, for the record, I did and still do. And as for making people less likely to give to others who are legitimate: every person for them self. Keep in mind, also, that scamming isn't "getting rich off other people's backs". I spent many, many hours perpetrating this scam.

Chmmr and I are different people, and what I did here was not under the explicit sanction of ALFOS. Feel free to ask him if you wish; this character does nothing except be a forum alt, and I chose this char as my forum alt because of the excellent name.

You should have prepared to be caught. You posted making 2.5 bill a week and the evidence you supplied showed only 3 bill in the mons you had the char. Any person with a serious intrest would have found it out, I do not claim to be a hero. I just want to become a part of MD and the community. I help my fellow traders out. This is how you become known, ppl forget all about the petty scams. Props to the answers to all the questions though, you sounded legit

Fair enough, there were certainly holes, but it was my first time. The reason my "case" was so flimsy was that because when I had intended to be legitimate in the initial 8b, AC asked almost no questions, stating out right he didn't care what my business plan was.
