I'm honestly not sure how to assess the risk of this.

You are one of the few people in EVE I'd trust with 25 billion ISK based upon the collateral of reputation alone.

But everyone has their price, and I'm not sure whether yours is met by 0.65 trillion.

Not investing.

Im terribly sorry, Zahara, but posts like that one affect your credibility as a trader. I'm a little surprised at this sort of trolling from one of EVE's better known moguls.

I'm truly crushed. All my hopes and dreams have been dashed. How can I recover my credibility? Pull the stick out of your a** mate.

Now that you have the stick removed, you can shove your isk up there.

I've never invested in bonds on MD (and don't think I ever will).

But if I were to invest, I would say never invest in non-collateral bonds where the total amount is greater than the effort it takes to build up the reputation.

So I think Sabriz is right that 25 Bil is a fair amount for the collateral of reputation, and the person cannot have any other bonds outstanding. Of course this number depends on how old the character is, and how much time they've spent building their reputation.

Zahara Cody, you seem very bitter that CCP is releasing the limited edition ship again.

Investing has its risks, and you have only yourself to blame for your investment choices. It doesn't matter what CCP say that they may or may not do.

Do you play the stock market at all in real life?

It's kind of like when the CEO of a publicly traded company says "Currently we don't see a need to issue additional shares", and then a few months later they dilute the shareholders by 25%.

Or a financially troubled company that keeps saying on every earnings call "We think we have enough resources to last through the down cycle". Then all of a sudden they declare chapter 11, and the shares lose 99.9% of their value.

This sort of stuff happens quite often.

Let's say if this happened to your stock brokerage account in real life - you gonna close your brokerage account and sue the company? Is that gonna do any good?

Ultimately, it was your choice to invest in the ship - knowing the nature of the investment, the reason why you think the ship was actually worth 650 bil, and the fundamentals behind that value.

Anyway it was just an itch I had to scratch - I just had to get the message across that it wasn't CCP's fault, it was your investment choice.

Some people might quit when this happens to them, while others just move on and change their strategy regarding to those types of investments.
