Ok lol

Because I am the one using a one-time market glitch as the poster child for LP prices?

No one is doing that. In fact, it's made quite clear that the only reason for the high LP ratio currently is because of the Blood event.

Look, maybe you just need to let it go. This can't be healthy for you.

What does the blood event have to do with LP prices?

Do yourself a favor and run some maths on probes again. If it isn't null-sec pirate missions your LP values are dropping every day.

It's not a glitch, anyone with a brain could have seen a spike in scanning equipment prices coming down the pipe once the Blood Harvest was announced.

It has a lot to do with prices of Stratioses if people are losing a lot of them. If the price of a Stratios goes up, that's likely to improve the LP-to-ISK conversion rate for that specific item.

Special event -> ship loss -> ship prices -> LP value.

And that translates into long term basis for establishing game activity rates?!

It is a glitch, 2 November and they will continue their slide... if you even want to call that a spike to begin with (considering they are down 15% so far this year anyways)

CCP Quant: Of all those who logon in Eve, 1.5% do Incursions, 13.8% PVP and 19.2% run Missions while 22.4% mine.

40.7% Join a fleet. The idea that Eve is a PVP game is false, the social fabric is in Missions and Mining.

Maybe not so much the scanning stuff specifically, but there are less people running missions, more people running around trying to get blood thingies. and when in dangerous space using something like an astero or stratios makes sense because they are reasonably combat effective and can cov-ops cloak.

looking at the price history table in jita:

2014.10.27 00:00:00    82    86    267,367,378.94 ISK    274,999,999.00 ISK    272,556,540.47 ISK
2015.10.26 00:00:00    124    135    268,211,111.95 ISK    274,989,999.98 ISK    272,998,998.98 ISK

the only conclusion is that average prices and volume have gone up on stratios over the last year!!! I'm even posting my data, you are just saying prices are down 15%

I wasn't talking about the Stratios being up 15%, it has been pretty stable.

I was talking about the probes and launchers. Probes in particular went from 700k in January to around 600k recently, right now down to 450k

Sorry I should have been more specific, people keep changing measuring sticks as I respond to specific people.

According to my spreadsheet probes at 440k is well over 1700 isk/lp, even taking into account probe cost and tax. It would make sense for most/all SOE items to have close to similar conversion rates.

Also, the reason for the high probe cost back in January is probably down to the SOE ships that released late the previous year. You could say it was a spike in price *cough*

If I have learned anything about the market, speculation is key. For instance, new faction navy frigates are coming. I predict a rise in price for the Vigil and Maulus.

I'd guess most people would just get bpcs as they are much easier to haul. Although the completed ship offers do seem to be every so slightly more rewarding. IMO there just isn't much room for an upswing.
