Intel HD Display Adapter Crashing/Reseting

Every time I jump through a WH, my display driver crashes and resets, so far I haven't been able to find a solution for this problem, I suspect it has something to do with DirectX. I'm running my client on a Win 7 laptop. I'm aware that it defaults to directx 11, but I can't figure out why the Eve launcher insists that my system can only run directx 9.... I'd really like to find a solution to this problem before I toss this piece of s*** out the window.

One of these programs is lying!

given the laptop model on your screenshot it's a i5-520m GMA HD graphic adapter
it should support OpenGL 4 and Directx11.

so either you don't have the right drivers, or something is wrong in your system (upgrade to win10 is still free, it will change your life for better or worse, but it will change :) )

but you crash, no idea, first check your graphic drivers, the check chipset driver, then for good measure go back to DELL and get their tool that detects your hardware and update everything it asks

if still crashing : install gputemp (google it, it's free and reaaaally small.) and check how hot the thing is going (dunno how that will work with a GC integrated in the CPU, but still worth checking

finally from the game folder run rescache to verify corrupt files, and clear your cache from the game menu (esc)

if after all that it still does not work, open a support ticket

I installed the latest drivers that exist for this model laptop, so far nothing has had any effect on the problem. There are several threads addressing this matter on various forums across the internet, it's rooted in the Intel(R) HD Integrated Graphics hardware.... According to the forum chatter, this has been a known issue for quite some time, and to my knowledge, an effective solution to the problem has not yet been procured. I attempted a Windows 10 upgrade on a different device, an HP Elitebook 8440p with the same Intel(R) HD graphics hardware, and the problem still persists.

try runing the DX setup once again, it seems this worked for someone else. There is also a "DirexctXRedist.exe" in the bin folder of the game, try it.

then with all you have done, please open a support ticket and described what you did (link them this post)

I don't have anything more for you
