Saving or Applying any changes to settings causes game to crash

After applying any changes in the settings windows causes the game to go unresponsive and all texture and shading to disappear.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or have any idea how to resolve it?

EDIT: Downloading the entire client seems to have resolved this issue.

I was going to ask you to run rescache.exe, this check game data for corruption. reinstall does that just fine lol
