I will be hosting another Masquerade event this year; this time on October 24 starting at 19:00 EVE Standard Time.

The location for this year's event will be aboard the Knight's Vow, a Paladin-class battleship. She will be docked in the Imperial Academy station orbiting the second moon of Sarum Prime III.

As always, security will be in place to ensure people's safety and enjoyment of the evening's event.

Partly out of a sense of tradition, as I have held this event the previous two years, and partially out to celebrate a past tradition of dressing up and celebrating even older traditions, nominally held on the 31st of October where people dressed up to either pay respect to the departed spirits of loved ones or to frighten off the evil spirits, depending upon which legends and traditions you read.

Just a reminder of the upcoming Masquerade on this October 24 at 1900 EVE Standard Time.

(in game channel for the event is "Knights Vow", this channel will be available for people to join starting a half hour before the start of the actual event)

While I am at present, uncertain, if I can attend. I highly recommend this annual event to those looking for a pleasant evening. I've always considered it one of the highlights of the social calendar.

It is an open event, with the implied stipulation that people in attendance show a touch of etiquette and good will towards the other guests. I realize that many here have sordid pasts and rocky relations, but I trust that, for a little while at least, differences and grudges can be checked at the door for a few hours.
