Citadel deployment - instawarp alignment line from undock point

There is a very good chance people will line up their citadels for instawarps.

Why not help them? During the deployment stage, a red line exists that extends outwards from the undock point of origin. The line indicates the direction ships are launched from and will assist in creating near perfect instawarps.

One step further: The line turns green when directly facing a Celestial object.

probably easier to just make an insta undock then trying to exactly align it with something... Since thats a really hardcore resolution problem... Also they dont show it rotating in 3d...

I see clear rotation there, and during the presentation, CCP said you can rotatethem during deployment to make things like instawarps.

You shouldn't be able to instawarp. More ships kills=good.

If you know that your enemy is undocking and warping to a fixed point each time, it is relatively easy to employ a drag bubble and kill them.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

They said multiple undock points, you won't be able to line all of them up.

Isn't there also tethering, which will let you warp out straight from undock invuln?

Not to mention with tethering your not going to get them on the undocks anyway

Instawarps are still useful, regardless of tethering.

I think FireFrenzy means X and Z rotation.. as it seems they can only rotate on the Y axis (left and right)

Guess no one watched eve vegas here. You no longer need insta warps. Yoi can undock freely and not get bumped off as long as you dont enguage and stay in range of the teather.

Anchor multiple other XL stations as insta-undocks for the original!
