Haven't seen it, so apologies if it is a re-post.

Key short cut control panel

Throw money at this, please people, I would like to get one when they are cheap and made out of plastic. P

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

It's nice and all but what it is is an adaptation of pretty much any flight sim or racing sim peripherals that have more capability and years of QA behind them.

If you are in the market for such, hit a place like Simkits and go crazy. The only modifications you'll need to make at most is creating your own placards to label functions.

Don't get me wrong. It's a great idea and a good looking product. It's just that there is better stuff out there.

Tsk tsk. Where is your community patriotism? P

(There could be some other benefits to supporting this project, as the designer is more accessible to us.)
For example, he might build a speaker into it and we can play a custom sound every time we go to warp.

Get a cheap tablet and install roccat. Make any kind of display you want and add sound.

Just get yourself a Logitech keyboard with those extra macro keys, you're allowed to use them as long as it's direct input.

Also, most EVE players wouldn't know what to do with all those options, they'd be better off with this.

It looks like the gaming equivalent of a bread maker - at first you're like "wooooo from now on I'm gonna make my own bread n shiz", but when you actually go to use it, you're like "ain't got time fo dat".

Biomassing to free a char slot.

Neat-o. And here I was expecting something about manual flight controls.

It does feel like it's missing a lot of buttons, but the essentials seem to be there.

Mayyyyyybe if it had more buttons....

I suspect a joystick can be tied into the manual flight controls. Blink

Simply put it's not allowed to use it to chain multiple and/or delayed commands or to multiple clients. If you use it to press a button that translates to "press F1" or "press alt+R" then it's fine.

Actually I would go for a mobile app displaying those buttons in a portable device. Maybe it even exists already, since touchscreens are pretty standard in homemade cockpits.

Looks very cool, thanks for posting it.

Definitely could add more immersion to the game.

ahem...Roccat

Can even use your own button images, background graphics and sound effects. Can be used to send key commands, macro's and control windows functions like volume or opening apps.

Oh, and it's free.
