I was just killed while undocking from Jita IV in my raven. Can anyone tell me why this happend?

I looked up your killboard. It doesn't look like a suicide gank (some pricey ships were shooting you).

Did you...

- take something from a jetcan?
- shoot at someone who was flashing red/yellow?
- assist someone who was fighting someone else (through repair drones or some other assistance module)?
- accept a duel?
- join in faction warfare (or a FW corporation)?
- shoot at the NPCs around the station?
- join a corporation that was at war with someone else?

How did you Veterans start?

He was shot at by a large number of people from different groups in non-ganking ship and was in an NPC corp at the time.

The only reasonable explanation is that for some reason he was suspect flagged.

Thats wierd, bc i dont remember being a suspect and all I did was undock. Also I thought that factional warefare was only in specific places.

If your character is in FW, then war targets can shoot you anywhere. That's why you should never go to Jita if you're in a militia.

If you weren't previously suspect then someone, probably, activated a kill-right on you, thus making you suspect. Remember you can always immediately dock back, if in docking range, if you don't return fire and gain a weapons timer. Also for 30 seconds from the undocking moment, you're safe from being locked and shot at as long as you don't take any action. Plenty of time to notice if you somehow gained a suspect status. All you got to do then is pay attention and dock back.

p.s. The fw militia guys are most of the times there looking for easy kills from the opposite factions but they don't shy away from shooting suspects of any kind.
