Blood raider accelerator bonus kept on skill after it runs out

I noticed that after the +10 attributes wears off, the skill that was being trained at the time will keep the bonus training time as long as you don't stop or change skill training.

I tested leaving it to run for a while after the bonus wore off and made a note of my exact training time left on a skill, before pausing the skill to cancel the bonus. This sets the skill back to it's normal unbonused training time.

I then applied a new blood raider booster and my skill got boosted back to the exact amount it was on when I paused it.

What do we learn from this? If you set a skill training and the booster wears off, the skill continues to benefit from the effect until that level of skill training completes. Unless you pause, stop, or change skill training, then the bonus is lost.

Unless I've made a mistake?

If that OP didn't start a stampede to Jita, then nothing ever will.

It's a bug. Once it runs out, restart your skill queue. You will see the time go up.

Basically on a 54 day skill, it takes out a few days (and not the 20+ days it looks like it takes out, since it runs out after 24 hours).

Been around since the beginning.

it changes because when you restart your queue your attributes change and it checks your attributes when you start the queue.

afaik if you have implants and get podded the skill in training time doesn't change till you pause it. And with the newbie boosters they supposedly work that way too.

I dunno how the server actually calculates it. And also on my UI I don't see a change with the boosters. It matches what eve-mon says my normal no booster training speed is.

I'm pretty sure it only applies for that particular skill and the next skill in your queue will be correct. See how the icon changes to say 'accelerated training' on the first few skills when you apply a booster. The rest stay with their old time already.
This is a very old bug, the newbie boosters also do this.

I used +12 booster the other day, when effect was wearing off the timer was showing 8 days, then I paused the queue to use the next booster, it went to 10 days, and with new +10 booster it changed to 8 days 16 hours.

So what I'm thinking.... you only ever need one single booster for the whole event if you have that skill in training that will last until or past november 2nd.

It's a UI bug. If you leave it running for a while after the booster has run out, then pause the training, you can see the extra skillpoints you gained disappear.

EDIT: Actually, the skillpoints seem to reset back to the "Pre-booster" amount on my alt. What the ****?

For honest answer, if it was a bug that extended training, then CCP found it was exploiting for certain high sp skills, that could be bad news. Example, suddenly only doing L5s when you pop one.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.
