Ideas for WIS, real gameplay ITT "Nano-Surgery"

the problem of WIS is that it is useless, as it stands now it is nothing but a roman orgy of all-you-can-eat social /dance o7m8 dressup,
it needs real gameplay, something like what i came up with below. bottom line many players like myself need a real reason to use it.

the profession of nano-surgery
you buy a bunch of corpses off contracts (or pod ppl yourself), you cut off the heads (hold right click and push your mouse up and down) and you walk to a seedy part of the station into an illegal lab (operated by players i guess) with your bag of heads, you pay the fee and engage in a sort of minigame
you scan the head, god damn this scrub, no implants, you continue with the next head you see a full set of +4s, woot!
then you go to a console and operate nano-needles and try to get the implants out intact (sort of like lock-picking in skyrim) your heart is pounding as you ease your mouse pixel by pixel to control the nano-needles cus if you botch it the head goes splat and you get nuthin. there will be a "nano-surgery" skill book that increases success rate/ access level like salvaging.

it serves 2 purposes
1. a new profession is created
2. with implants added to pod killmails you know how much a corpse is worth, and corpses will become a highly sought after commodity.
but i dunno the whole thing is pretty macabre ccp will never do it

i suggest everybody post their ideas but for christssake don't do it in GD

TA on wis: "when we have a feature that is its own functional ecosystem of gameplay then hooks into the greater ecosystem of EVE as a whole, and it provides good replayability."

Good idea except for the part about actually cutting the head off, lol.

Could also add in some other new skills to train as well, such as Preservation and or Cryonics Skills. Gotta keep those corpses from deteriorating while you're working.

I approve nano-surgery.

Here's my contribution:

- Smuggling: Boosters can no longer be traded through regular contracts; You now have to meet your booster dweller inside stations. Other players can play the police, scanning your pockets (?) for illegal substances. Each scan costs the scanning dude some kind of resource, if he gets anyone with illegal substances he can either reach a deal with him or denounce him for some bounty reward, the illegal goods are confiscated, the illegal bloke gets a sec hit and a fine.

- Room war: with mini-maps and whatnot.

- Anti-Wardecs or Griefing Griefers in high-sec: What if we could reach our enemies corporation/alliance office in their station to bribe some random dude with an illegal good to either a) Cancel the wardec or b) making it (way) more expensive for the war declarer peeps. It would involve some additional FiS gameplay instead of just docking up and waiting for the Wardeccers to give up. If both parts involved are willing to fight, you don't even have to use this feature!

- Player run establishments: Boosters can only be traded in bars. Booster trades in the bar could be assigned with taxes, in a POCO way but adding the possibility of setting taxes individually. Each bar could have its own list of legal booster contracts.

- Gambling: Texas hold'em in bars, with ISK involved.

- Combat and in-station missions: Maybe in future iterations but please, avoiding the FPS style. I get dizzy with FPS games.Ugh

The game with corpse reprocessing by players couldn't be rated teen. So really its not gonna happen no matter how much you write about it on the forums.

you still can gather and contract corpses now, but I agree that it's not gonna happen.

If you wanna get into semantics, technically gmail doesn't even allow people under the age of 18 to own a gmail account. I haven't checked but i bet hotmail and alot of other email providers are the same. I started playing this game when i was 16, in 2004.
